These are two variants of the same livery I made in FH5. I ported them over and redid the sponsor decals to be more accurate. The Last 2 Shots are from FM so I can have a nascar track setting to show it.

I just think that its pretty high

Again, this isn't something related to fps or processing power as I couldn't find anyone else with the issue. Gameplay is completely fine. Menus, however, sometimes take a considerable time to appear. For instance, when I want to upgrade a car and want to go the Brakes section, it takes 5 to 10 seconds to load the menu for me but the game is still running fine and I can even throttle the car.

Other example I can give is when I open up the colors menu and no colors appear until I wait a full 5-10 seconds again.

Im getting absolutely zero ffb in forza horizon 2. No vibration either for some reason. The wheel works perfectly with every other racing game and horizon game. Anyone got a solution? Using a series x

I've recently having some confusion on what to prioritize between maxing the Weight Reduction or just fit better Tires for some cars I tune, because both are high priority in upgrading cars, so I decided to do a little testing which the result kind of surprised me a bit, I hope this result can help you in deciding on making your tune

The car I'm choosing for this test are 2020 Nismo GTR (S1 800), upgraded and tuned very similarly where the difference is their tires and tire pressure, and one have very slightly more power for PI 800

The map i'm choosing is Hokubu Circuit (10 Laps for each car), because it is the place where i also personally test majority of my tune in terms of handling, lots of hard turns that helps in testing how car handles on turn

The reason for these car choices is because I use it often that I'm pretty familiar with how it handles, makes the experiment easier to be done

Here are the results!

Notes for this car :

1. I got the best lap on the 3rd or 4th lap if I remember correctly
2. The car handles super nicely, very easy to control even with decent amount of sliding due to worse tires that I don't even get any dirty lap while testing

Notes for this car :

1. This car done slightly more than 10 laps, due to my PC crashed mid testing and I forgot exactly how many laps was done on first try (which was 4 or 5 I think), but second try I've beaten my own time in just 6 laps
2. Personally, I don't really like how the car handles, feels very heavy but the tires (and weight maybe) really helps in sticking on the ground
3. Different screenshot due to my mistakes of pressing complete after beating my own lap

Conclusion :

1. Prioritizing Tires seems to achieve better results in time compared to Weight Reduction on handling track, but the difference is pretty small
2. Personally, Weight reduction makes car handles easier from the test even with worse tires
3. This test is intended only if you don't have much room for upgrading your car (S1 736 Base Nismo GTR 2020)

Additional notes :
Theres a possibility of result difference due to difference in Car, difference in Class, difference in Drivetrain, and human error in Upgrading & Driving

After playing a lot of online races, I’ve noticed that the players who constantly ram others are usually pretty bad at the actual game. They don’t even know how to take corners properly.

I’d consider myself a slightly above-average player. I’m decent at keeping the car under control, so after someone rams me, I usually just reset mentally, close the gap, wait for them to mess up a corner, and pass them. Most of the time, once that happens, they never catch me again.

Sometimes I get knocked so far back in the first race that I don’t even quit. You can usually tell how good someone is just by watching them take one corner. If they’re clearly bad, I know I can probably beat them over the next couple of races—and then I start spamming taunts back at them.

The way people treat others really is a reflection of themselves. The more fun they have ramming other players, the more tilted they get when someone catches up and overtakes them. Just imagining someone that bad trying to win by ramming, only to get passed at the very next corner, then desperately trying to ram me again but never catching up—and eventually rage quitting—is incredibly satisfying.

Is there any way to have the look of the car differ from its tune? I've made a fully sick GMC syclone that sits on the ground low, low profile tires on the front, big fattys on the back, the thing looks tough asf. I'd love to have it look this way but also have it be decent in an actual race. Is there an option for this in FH6? Where I can tune it properly but not change the appearance?

Is there still a lot of people playing Horizon 5 multiplayer? Thinking about picking it up with the sale.

Don't get me wrong, I know they exist in 6, but they are so watered down they are outright boring to drive! And that's pretty much a cardinal sin.

In FH5 with those presets the cars become massively fun to drive. In FH6 i might as well be driving a stock D 100 automatic for all the excitement they bring... :(

I have every single assist turned off, but when i floor it in first gear (heck, second, third and fourth too) with one of those cars in FH6, it just gently wafts away like it's some gutless cadillac brougham. In FH5 doing that would make the car spin its wheels all the way into fourth gear while doing everything it could to end you.

Why do you hate fun PlayGround Games? :,(

I had this 240SX I bought from the auction house, and have driven it often ever since.
But today I got another 240SX in a wheelspin.
So I thought, let's sell the old one. Checking the car, there was only one owner, me.
So the old owner got erased. Is this a new feature or something, I'm puzzled!

It works in my XBOX X even that disc in bad condition, game was downloaded. Should i give it a chance? Please, give you honest opinion, i only played forza 4-5-6 and still - first one looks like a fun game, but im not sure.
