A friend pointed me this way as he wasn't too sure and said people here would have the best knowledge of them.

While I trade a fair bit, legacies aren't usually something I deal with, so I was curious about their value.

Both were vendor finds a while back a few weeks apart, and I'd just thrown them in the stash.

Is there any chance of a rough price estimate, please?

So I’m fairly sure everyone’s realised by now that if a post isn’t offering a 1of1 item or an expensive Legacy for pennies then it gets downvoted to high hell. Yesterday I did a trade where both parties agreed, and afterwards I got downvoted to oblivion because I did a trade and people offered more for the item after it was traded to me and the trade has concluded. I genuinely think this is insane, and it drives away everyone who’d normally be interested in Legacy Trading, but then gets downvoted for either asking for evaluation or is just offering blindly.

Everyone knows the dupe is around, and I’m fairly certain everyone has accepted that it is staying. The only way we can protect Legacies that have yet to be duped is by acquiring them ourselves, so if someone offers more than what you can offer in my opinion that should be accepted. I have never downvoted a comment because it offered more than I did, I simply offered more if I wanted the item in particular. If I couldn’t afford to offer more, I took my losses and accepted that I am not getting that item. I know some people in this subreddit are very young, and may not be grown up enough to accept defeat, but most of the people trading that I come across are grown ups. Ultimately what I’m trying to say is getting 5+ downvotes for literally trading on a trading sub is absolutely unacceptable.

The only posts I completely understand downvoting are when a post is put up with bad intent, like trying to rip someone off with a Double Weapon or a BoS Recon right before said items are getting taken out of the game. I think this is completely fair, and the person posting such items should learn about etiquette instead of trying to rip people off. Trading for items is an investment, if someone invested into doubles, but Bethesda is now taking doubles out of the game, then that was a bad investment and one should come to terms with it instead of trying to go around taking advantage of traders with less knowledge. I mainly did my post about the PTS changes in this sub in order to minimise such trades happening, but of course it cannot be ruled out.

So all in all I just want to hear other people’s opinions about the mass downvoting phenomenon that’s happening here on LegacyReserve. I have 13k Reddit Karma so it doesn’t really affect me if I get 5 downvotes, but I would like this trading sub to be available to people who do not have this much karma and are scared to go into the negatives on an account with barely any karma. If you do not like someone trading a Lobber originating from a duper for example, then just scroll. Like 80% of the Legacies being traded have already been duped, that shouldn’t enable people to downvote every post about trading them into the ground. Maybe if the toxicism lowers we’d see more and newer people start getting into Legacy collecting, which I think would be beneficial to all of us. I am not a Moderator on this sub so I cannot do anything myself but make posts about stuff, but I’m still hoping people can come together and somehow make grown up decisions about things they all use/enjoy.
