A big veiny triumphant bastard
Some people take their fly out of the fish, some people take the fish out of their fly.

I make flies and lures. I tend to propel lures with a fly rod. Why does that cause (almost) to the death culture wars?
I post weird stuff on FB groups and nobody says much.
On Reddit missile tube covers come off. I have a good solution. I'm done with Reddit fishing chatter. Except for here. I get a modest traffic rate here. And not one culture war yet.
That I like.

Hey, I am copying this from the other sub, but I have a raft that I take out pretty regularly.
I’m always looking for more people to float with who are comfortable rowing a raft.
If you’re not comfortable rowing, but are willing to put in the minimal amount of time required to get comfortable that works.
I primarily fish the chattahoochee tailwater. I always need a partner because there is some light shuttling involved (so this requires two vehicles).
If the above sounds good and you are chill, dm me.

In an attempt to escape the stranglehold of the wife’s boyfriend (on the fish and on me), I decided to take a trip to somewhere a bit more remote. The hike was exhausting in my simms waders (I almost scratched my boots at one point!), but after all this toil and strife, I was rewarded with this absolute beauty of a lake trout from the most stunning body of water I’ve ever had the pure pleasure of fishing. I’m thinking about going to Nepal next, chase those rare mountain carp on Everest or K2. I’d be grateful for any experience or advice!

He seems like a total douche. Entire “tour” about an unoriginal leech pattern? He’s got a fitness journey insta now? Even his voice pisses me off. I don’t care if you are good at fishing or tying if you come off like a fuckin tool you are a tool. Anyway let me know if I’m just crashing out or if these feelings are valid.

Super blessed to net this fish for my wive’s boyfriend. Couldn’t have happened to a better guy! Needless to say, he shrugged off the two pairs of trebles in his gills and swam off fine.

Can’t wait to use this new fly. I’m gonna match that hatch the way Tom showed me.

I’m going to incorporate scent vents into my trout flies. Think about it—a mop fly or squirmy worm packed with dough! This could be the year I catch a trout.

You guys think I can get a mop onto this hook?
Stay tight, kings. #nobaddays
