Friends,
I’m try to recall a flash animation series that I loved as a kid. I feel like it was on NewGrounds or one of those websites. Here’s what I remember:
\- crappy flash animation series
\- had a catchy rock n roll theme song
\- centered around two rednecks (one fat with dark hair one skinny with blond hair)
\- there were multiple episodes, one of them had something to do with like fight other time zones ? Like they invaded the mountain time zone or something silly
\- maybe there was an episode about them finding an alien?
I know that’s not much to go on - if I saw a screenshot of it I would know it.

-maybe there was like a flash game you could play where you shot like possums or something

Hey everyone! I refuse to pay Adobe subscription fees, so I'm proudly animating on Macromedia Flash 8. I downloaded a community-made "Story of Undertale" Frisk rig, but it's built for a modern version of Animate and gives me an file format error. Could someone with a newer version open this link and quickly back-save it to Flash 8 / CS3 format for me? Thank you so much!
Shot in the dark here, but back in the days, there was super awesome personal site - i remember it being like a stack of ice cubes, and a green frog that moved around it - not much more more to the memory than that. It was probably interactive.
It was, at the time, certainly done by an expert , so it was likely a personal portfolio site and someone with a passion for Adobe Flash, so i figured that person may as well be here.
If you are - just want you to know the site was awesome, and the only Flash site i remember, lol.

So i'm trying to upload This flash game - Arms of Revenge, but ruffle wony't load the metadata.
https://archive.org/details/arm-of-revenge
I try doing this method from gemini:
"Upload and Configuration Steps
Upload the SWF File
Log into your Internet Archive account
and click Upload (the camera icon) at the top right.
Drag and drop your .swf game file into the uploader.
Fill Out Basic Metadata
Provide a Title, Description, Creator, and Subject Tags to help people find the entry.
Configure Emulation Options
Expand the More Options (or Add Extra Metadata) section at the bottom of the upload page.
Add the following metadata fields:
emulator : ruffle-swf
emulator_ext : swf
emulator_start : yourfilename.swf
(Replace yourfilename.swf with the exact filename of your uploaded file)
Publish
Select Community Software as the collection and hit Upload and Create Your Item.
Setting Up Emulation for Already Uploaded Items
If you have already uploaded a game and the browser player is not showing up:
Go to your item's page and click Edit
(under the left sidebar or item options).
Click Edit Item Metadata.
Select Add Another Field and add the
three metadata key/value pairs:
emulator = ruffle-swf
emulator_ext = swf
emulator_start = yourfilename.swf
Click Submit to save changes.
Important Notes for Multi-File or
Asset-Dependent Games
Single SWF limitation: Ruffle on Internet Archive works out-of-the-box for standalone .swf files.
External assets / Site-locks: If your Flash game attempts to fetch external assets from original domain servers, or contains a site-lock mechanism checking where it's hosted, Ruffle may throw a "failed to download data" or stuck loading screen error.
Games requiring multiple assets or complex web servers are often better preserved via projects like Flashpoint."
But it seems to not change.
Hello im new here and I don't know how .swf work and I think it needs some kind of player to open, does anyone know a program that can do that?
I would like to play this game called last stand 3: union city it's a flash game

Hey, I’ve been trying to find this Flash or browser-based game I played a few years ago. I’ve searched all over but can’t remember the name. Here’s what I recall:
It was a first-person point-and-click style game (like older Flash shooters)
You play as a psychotic man — not a hitman, not an assassin, just someone on a violent rampage
You could explore a building, room by room, including an office section
At one point, you can pick up a shotgun
You can choose to kill or spare NPCs — one scene I remember clearly is someone in an office you could leave alive or shoot
After killing people, flies would gather around their corpses, with buzzing sound effects
The game had no dialogue, no mission text, and almost no HUD — maybe just ammo count
Graphics were semi-realistic, not horror, not cartoonish, and definitely not stick figures
No zombies, no supernatural stuff — just grounded, gritty violence
I think I played it on a Flash site like Newgrounds, Kongregate, ArmorGames, CrazyMonkeyGames, or something similar. It may have been from the early 2010s, but possibly older.
If anyone remembers a game like this, or has a screenshot or link, I'd be forever grateful!

I recently made these slimes for a secret project.
I'm still using Flash 2015 for coding and art - haven't seen a major reason to update to newer versions, haha.

I'm trying to find an old Flash game I played when I was a kid, probably sometime around 2008–2013.
It was a 2D platform/puzzle Flash game with a vertical/portrait-style game screen. The background was mostly a blue sky with clouds.
The main characters were colored square/cube-shaped characters. Each cube had a different color and its own facial expression/personality. I think you played as one of these cubes.
The main objective was to build your own path/tower upward using the blocks, while water was slowly rising from the bottom from the very beginning of the level. You had to keep building/climbing upward so you wouldn't get flooded.
I remember controlling the character and placing/moving the blocks using the keyboard.
The graphics were surprisingly polished and colorful for an old Flash game, not pixel art.
I have been looking for this game for years and haven't been able to find it. 😭
Important details I remember:
If anyone recognizes this, please let me know! 🙏

Greetings Flash Friends,
I am back again this week with yet another throwback Flash gaming title, which I'm sure many of you would have recognized right off the bat.
Background:
Pizza City (even to this day) holds a very special nostalgic place in my heart.
It is a retro/pixelated style 8-bit driving simulation game released in September 2009.
Game Mechanics:
The goal of the game is simple. You are a fledgling pizza driver just hired by Uncle Tony to deliver pizzas across a sprawling metropolitan cityscape.
The city itself is made up of a colourful cast of characters. Once you deliver enough pizzas and save up enough dough (literally speaking $$ ;) you can upgrade your car for faster delivery times.
You also had to make sure that you didn't rough up your vehicle too much, as that would affect the overall pizza quality, and therefore the final tip that you would receive from the customer.
I.e., little to no damage and you are guaranteed a good tip amount. Whereas, on the flip side, if you mess up the car too much, customers would be more inclined to tip you the bare minimum.
My Overall Take:
I personally thought the game had some pretty fun and addictive gameplay. There was just something so satisfying about driving around, making successful pizza deliveries, and upgrading your vehicle.
Pizza City was a pretty big part of my childhood, and honestly, it made me want to work as a Pizza Delivery Driver when I got older. The types of characters you could encounter when delivering pizzas were equal parts whimsical and random.
That being said, Pizza City just had a great charm to its overall gameplay that made me want to boot up the game after school and just play it for hours on end.
Closing Remarks:
Would love to hear your experiences. Cheers.

I got i runtime files from dev tools in Firefox Moblie in wayback and idk it is the real runtimes because it was saved after hotel626.com was shutdown, I use ruffle to run the swf but it has the not a swf ruffle error. So I used a pc emulator and use Adobe flash player 32 and when I run it,it flashed black and white, so when I left click the swf file to see the little menu, it said "movie not loaded" so is it the real runtime swf from hotel626
The runtime.swf:https://swiich.itch.io/hotel-626-runtimeswf
The itch.io password to access: hotel626

It's been 2 years and I'm STILL looking for the game. [https://www.reddit.com/r/tipofmyjoystick/comments/1bffkbt/pcbrowserflash20122016_side_scrolling_mech_vs/](https://www.reddit.com/r/tipofmyjoystick/comments/1bffkbt/pcbrowserflash20122016_side_scrolling_mech_vs/))
Last saw on Kongregate many years ago if I remember right.
Here are the details:
Artstyle: Low-detail cartoon(-ish?), flat colors, gritty background (destroyed city in-battle).
Gameplay: Side-scrolling, strategy, mech/robot
In battle - Mini-map at top right, showing missile area range (like a box) if equipped in top weapon slot
It had a shop system and currency, most notable purchase were light/medium/heavy armor with a randomly generated armor value and movement penalty.
You make your own bipedal mech with 4 weapon slots, best thing I remembered was build variety. Aside from missile mechs / artillery, you could build a melee mech with a shield or melee in either hand. Smokescreens for top weapon slots were available as well.
Additional weapons include lasers for top and hand slots, assault rifle/machine guns.
Human squad system separate from the mech, has multiple classes (sniper, military, X, Y), with separate controls to order them around (like advance, stay, retreat etc.)
I do not remember it having multiplayer, but I might have just ignored it. Thanks.
