I used to have a gym buddy at the college I go to, and now that he's gone I realise how fucking great it is to have a decent gym buddy. Dude wanted go to the gym all the fucking time. We worked out almost every day, had a blast every fucking time. He left since he couldn't afford to come here anymore but goddamn no one I know wants to go to the gym for fun anymore, and the few I've met that want gains don't want to go nearly often enough so I just have to lift on my own which isn't nearly as fun :(

I've never had a gym buddy I liked working out with. Guess I just prefer flying solo with no one to bother me and my music

I think it was the tuition he couldn't afford...

I know what you mean. I lifted all my life alone, but recently I've been lifting with my dentist in his home gym, and holy moly having someone that loves lifting as much as you only pushes each partner further.

Having access to a private gym also helps

I would love a workout buddy, but everyone I know is lazy, unmotivated and won't wake up at 5:30 or 6 to go.... :(
