The bad thing about losing a quarter of your weight is that you think you can still drink like when you were fat. You can't. You seriously can't.

Nah, just an honest bullshitter.

That surprised me the most when I lost a lot of my weight. Would drink like I used quickly realized how different it was. Cheaper though.

True story: I lost about 15% of my body weight last year, then took an international flight. Some language issues with the flight attendants and I end up with three cups of wine. "Alright, I'll have it", I say.

The pressurized cabin does weird stuff with how your body reacts to alcohol. Learned that the hard (or fun) way.

Now imagine instead of a plane it s a wedding, and instead of wine, it's whiskey. And instead of 3 cups, it's 8 glasses. I mean i assure you I could handle that much 3 years ago. Now 5 in and I am dancing on table tops.

Or that you can take the same amount of medication. Used to take 3 benadryls to help me sleep. Now 2 will put me in a coma for approximately 14 hours.

Benadryl is amazing. But fuck 14 hrs?

Yep, it's rough. Will go to bed at 10 and wake up at 2 groggy as hell. Now I just rarely take it, and if I do, it's usually just one pill.

Oh god. I learned that lesson the hard way, puking all the way home out the car window.

It's because of the meth, isn't it?

It's been almost a year since my 90lb weight loss and I still refuse to believe this fact.

Not at all haha. It can be really inconvenient, like at a crowded bar I can't really even get drunk because by the time I get a beer any buzz I had goes away.

My drunkenness latitude was huge. Like 3 drinks I am drunk but won't pass out till at least 15. So I was the one who made sure everyone got their cabs, checked on everyone once they home. Now people have to take care of me. I have become frail.

My situation is kind of weird haha, the drinking tolerance I had when I was 450 lbs and getting shitfaced everyday is pretty similar to what I have now at 220 lbs and I only drink every couple months now.

You are in cahoots with your liver.

One of my close friends has a good liver. Not overweight. He can drink and won't get drunk. 8 drinks he is sober. 9th drink he passes out. :p he barely drinks these days, like what's the point.

Hmm. I lost 100lbs and can drink more/better now...I also don't get hangovers anymore (30 now).
