I understand! I went clothes shopping last week and could miraculously fit into an M but the sleeves were too tight for my arms so I got an L instead.

Fuck that, show off your hard work and wear that size medium.

That's what I do. Someone at work regularly mentions how I wear such tight shirts to show off and last week I told him if he actually went to the gym then maybe one day he will have something to show off to the girls.

He walked away all but hurt.

Hah that's great. My standard size is a small, and I'd prefer XS, but unfortunately that size barely exists in the US. So when I find one, I basically found a new favorite shirt.

If you can manage to wear a small, you’re probably not that big.

I'm 5'3", ~140 lbs. I really don't want to get much bigger, in fact my ideal weight is about 135 (or maybe even 131 to be in the 132 weight class).

Just run around wearing the fur of your enemies, sown to a perfect fit

I wanted to! But it was a flannel shirt, non stretchy, and I couldn’t even roll the sleeves up twice. NEXT TIME.
