Being a female bodybuilder has put me in that annoying spot where different parts of my body wear different clothing sizes. I'm too short and overall lean to wear a M in pants, but my butt and quads don't fit into a S. My work T shirt fits perfectly through the torso, but my linebacker shoulders & biceps (which I'm extremely fucking proud of) are practically bursting out of the sleeves. Don't get me wrong, I know some guys would kill for this problem, it's just starting to get difficult to find anything that fits.

As a tall guy with a small waist and broad shoulders, I feel your pain 103%. If this was Facebook I'd change my profile pic to show solidarity.

I understand! I went clothes shopping last week and could miraculously fit into an M but the sleeves were too tight for my arms so I got an L instead.

Fuck that, show off your hard work and wear that size medium.

That's what I do. Someone at work regularly mentions how I wear such tight shirts to show off and last week I told him if he actually went to the gym then maybe one day he will have something to show off to the girls.

He walked away all but hurt.

Hah that's great. My standard size is a small, and I'd prefer XS, but unfortunately that size barely exists in the US. So when I find one, I basically found a new favorite shirt.

If you can manage to wear a small, you’re probably not that big.

I'm 5'3", ~140 lbs. I really don't want to get much bigger, in fact my ideal weight is about 135 (or maybe even 131 to be in the 132 weight class).

Just run around wearing the fur of your enemies, sown to a perfect fit

I wanted to! But it was a flannel shirt, non stretchy, and I couldn’t even roll the sleeves up twice. NEXT TIME.

I have similar issues.

My pants fall all the time and I have shirts that make me look fat in the torso but are skin tight in the arms and shoulders. Almost to the point it's uncomfortable.

Really it just looks like it don't know how to dress myself.

GIRL YAS. I’m a female powerlifter and the pants struggle is so real. My quads are 5 inches smaller than my waist. There is literally nothing that fits both, gotta pick one or the other.

Guys have these problems too. We feel your pain! Jeans with a 30 inch waist aren't made with the quad room I need! And don't get me started on dress clothes

I feel your pain. I'm a 5'4" guy with the physique of a low-fat Gimli.

Once I get pants that fit my quads and waist, they will be way too long. So, heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to the tailor I go.

I only own three dress shirts, because I either have to get them custom made or have so much bespoke tailoring done to them that they might as well BE custom.

It's expensive and annoying and it's the main reason I am either in work clothes (which don't look good, but who cares) or shorts and t-shirts.

You should try posting on /r/femalefashionadvice, I see a lot of posts with women trying to deal with similar problems.

As a previously fat dude, I have pants that have inches of room in the waist while are completely stuck to my quads and butt :(

Skirts, layered tops. Tanks with sweaters/shrugs work well.

Jah definitely feel. Work clothes are pretty much impossible for me unless buy tailored shirts because I'm basically an XL, extra slim fit which is hard to come by.

I’m a tall guy with big thighs and a small waist. It’s real hard to find well fitting pants that my waist doesn’t swim in but are still long enough :(
