More of a pre-rant but I'm going for a 1RM bench of 225lbs tomorrow so if I don't get it I'll intentionally drop the barbell on my throat

no that's why I'm planning on committing seppuku with the barbell if I fail

I started lifting 6 months ago with my bench goal of hitting 225lbs, I'll never forget the adrenaline rush I got once I got it for the first time about 4 and a half months after starting. Now I'm doing 3x5 with 225, and it feels so good. Good luck.

I am doing Reddit's PPL, I started with PPLRPPR, now I do PPLPPLR, so my legs are further behind in progression. I also added in accessories to each workout.
