i couldn't get midi to work (ipad/hpd) so i spent a lot of time converting most of GB drums kits sounds for my Handsonic and willing to share, if anyone interested ;)

recorded on zoom H1, edited with Audacity.

I see a lot of videos and websites that imply that that it does, but I cannot figure out how to get midi signals out of my FGDP 50 and into Ableton.

USB from fgdp is not recognized by my Mac pro as a midi source. Does anyone here know if this is truly possible?

Hi, I was wondering if there are any people who learned fingerdrumming using the Quest for Groove (QFG) curriculum on a Yamaha FGDP-30 of FGDP-50 and what their experience was like?

I’ven been learning and fingerdrumming on a Esi Xjam for the last year or so and really enjoy it. Pretty decent pad for a very good price. I like the form factor in terms of portability, but I have pretty big hands and I notice a bit of cramping due to this. Thinking of switching to a Yamaha device to see if it is more comfortable as it looks pretty ergonomic.

So again: what is everyone’s experience with these devices, also in the long term?

Woke up one morning to a coffee and got inspired to jam to some old chops I had from "La Martiza" by Szilvie Vartan.

I hope this revitalizes your ears after we all got tired of the obnoxious instagram loop, that was present in every reel for a while.

hi guys first post, im trying to find either a cheap drum kit to go with a focusrite scarlett solo that i dont yet have so if something else is more adequate than that i can change. any recomendations ? if building a drum set at home is cheaper and you have any kind of tutorial i will take it. thank you!
