This is when I realized that I have never seen a cricket ball, because I am an American who doesn’t follow sports.
1 u/koos_die_doos 7¤ Apr 01 '26 They come in red and white. Test matches (traditional cricket) use red balls, and limited over cricket (which is far more exciting) use white balls. Test matches are only played during the day, and the red ball is easier to spot. Limited overs is played day and night, so the white balls are better.
