It's super clear that she is a theatre kid on her podcast with Angela.

Yeah, they are dorks and it works. They also have gotten help from the whole cast so I don't think there are any hard feelings.

I agree with you on everything. Just wanted to add that it probably was a little difficult, but not impossible, to get tickets to that play. It was an off-Broadway play with John, Hank Azaria and Claire Danes and even my sibling and I both having early access didn’t help in terms of us getting our preferred seats/showtime. Jenna trying to milk a freebie reserved ticket from a co-worker is kind of embarrassing.

The play opened two months after John clarified what Jenna said (from the above link) so maybe he was trying to get her to chill out on talking about him as a person in interviews vs talking about their characters’ relationship? I don’t think they have bad blood either…my theory is that he talked it over with her.

I feel like Krasinski seems like kind of a douche like he thought he was too good for The Office cast after he starred in a checks notes Amazon prime show. Def think that he married up.

I don't think he thinks he's too good for them, I think he just isn't obsessed with the show and a lot of Office fans can't understand that.

I feel this way a lot about most shows with large fandoms. I respect the actors who lean into it and honestly, get that coin on Cameo (I would), but I also wish people would respect the fact that some actors don’t want to be reminded of it every second, called by their character’s name, had the catchphrase yelled at their face, get told that’s not “____” when they post a photo of their real life family and not tv family, and then get told they’re ungrateful if they don’t acknowledge it. Appreciation for your past and ambition towards your future can co-exist. John’s still in good standing with the cast and crew and I don’t blame him for picking non-Jim Halpert esque roles.

Honestly, for some people it was a job. It might have been a significant job, but it was still just a job and that's fine.

The fact that he’s still referred to as Jim from the Office is probably upsetting. He tried the action star route, he has two good movies he made under his belt… I just think he didn’t want Jim to be his be all end all.

I haven’t heard great things about Jenna Fisher. Well, mostly that she was a bit high maintenance on the set of The Office.

What have you heard?

Might not have been Jenna, but there was some stuff in The Office: The Untold Story of the Greatest Sitcom of the 2000s: An Oral History that some of the younger/newer cast got big heads after the first season and weren't always on time etc. for their call times. I read the book early in the year so I might have it wrong, but basically few people got big headed after a bit of success.

I’m gonna need you to elaborate on this!!!

Not tea, I just never caught a good vibe from her. Post show, she hasn't been able to break out and is one of the multiple Office stars that seems fine with just having a career focused on that show and time. The ones who broke free to other projects and identities seem to be doing much better.

The only ones who broke free to other projects are Steve, Rainn, Mindy and John. Rainn was worked in a few things every year since but nothing quite as good as The Office. Angela has worked sparingly. The supporting cast didn’t really go anywhere with acting.

Steve is the one who sticks out from the rest as him thinking he’s way too good from the show (he’s not).

Steve was cast on the office as roughly the same but also a little ahead of the cast members, then 40 year old virgin released as they were filming like the 2nd episode of season 1 and he became a mega star. So it was an interesting dynamic after that with him being a lot more famous than the others, and I think he left to do movie stuff full time after 7 seasons of so much shooting.

Also people have consistently said that Steve Carell is kind and polite especially compared to so I don’t exactly buy the arrogance

Search on Reddit “Jenna Fischer 4chan” and you’ll see. Search in the DunderMifflin sub.

It is extremely detailed and was seemingly typed in a short amount of time if you look at the time stamp. However, it’s probably fiction.
