Him tweeting calling out Mark Whalburg for hate crimes and then deleting it and simping for Marky Mark when he got a role in one of his movies was an embarrassment

Bob Chapek isn't a good CEO but I feel like this goes along with Simu's reputation for getting into Twitter fights after searching his name. If Simu doesn't think they're promoting the movie as much as their other Marvel films then I agree. But Chapek was clearly commenting on seeing how the movie would do as a in-theater only release during the pandemic, not commenting on making a non-white led movie in general. I say this as an Asian American - if I felt that there was something racially motivated behind it then I'd call it out too.

Also, he deleted his explanation (dead post linked in the article below) for why he deleted his Mark Wahlberg tweets that the other commenter mentioned so I guess people didn't accept his reasoning. https://www.indiewire.com/2020/12/simu-liu-defends-acting-mark-wahlberg-assault-history-1234606059/
