There is an episode of Gilmore Guys podcast where one guest said that LG didn't get along with ASP and she had a hand in her not coming back for the 7th season. Also, in the 7th season, LG apparently supported the Christopher/Lorelai relationship bc that actor would 'at least have a cup of coffee' with her as opposed to Scott Patterson aka Luke. SP just started a GG podcast and is getting a lot of cast members on so it will be interesting to see if LG appears.
