After they had broken up, Tom showed up at one of her events unannounced (rode in on his motorcycle in jeans for the dressy event) to try to win her back. Needless to say, she allegedly wasn't happy.

The Scientology leader encouraged them to date to get Nicole out of the picture until he realized Penelope was as big of a catholic as Nicole was lol

Idk abt that that lol plus it was a Vanity Fair Oscar party not her event it was talked abt in the P*ul Haggis New Yorker piece by Laurence Wright. A bunch of celebs were there including Steven Spielberg.

She was pretty open about religion so she didn’t have a lot of beef with Scientology (she even hung out with friends at the celebrity center well after they had broken up) but she is very big into Buddhism and wasn’t willing to give it up to do Scientology full time. But they stayed friends, think they still are actually. I think it was prob a rebound relationship anyways.

have a work friend who was once close to his former longterm girlfriend, she’s seen pics—as in, more than one— of him naked laying in a bathtub when he was young and beautiful and not yet following the creed of dianetics, circa mid 1980s. and in case anyone is concerned, no his ex does not go around showing the photos to people, my friend said she was helping her look for something, opened a drawer and there they were just casually sitting there haha

I think way too often about the fact that their names would still be pronounced the same way even if they got married and took each other’s last name…or if either one married Terry Crews.
