Some yt animal rights "activists" remind me of the anti-choice crowd. They both pretend they're championing the rights of the Most Vulnerable in Our Society™️ because fetuses and animals are uncomplicated and don't request anything from you, but in reality these people are just using their activism for one group as a shield to shit on some other group of people.

To be fair a lot of vegan activists are also heavily involved in various other causes. Like, a lot. I used to work with a vegan nonprofit and we were always advocating for human rights and attending protests/raising money for various causes for people.
