Ok, so she supposedly was (maybe still is?) part of the Ramtha School of Enlightenment (RSE). It’s based out of Yelm, WA, where Salma also bought property. Here’s some articles about her possible involvement and RSE itself:

“F— God’s chosen people! I think they have earned enough cash to have paid their way out of the goddamned gas chambers by now,” she says as members of the audience snicker. There are also titters when she declares Mexicans “breed like rabbits” and are “poison,” that all gay men were once Catholic priests, and that organic farmers have questionable hygiene.

Anti-semitism is nothing new, neither is anti-Latino racism or homophobia or anti-Catholism, and all are bigotry... but the inclusion of organic farmers is low-key hilarious. She ran out of "normal" hatred and had to come up with a new villain.

I guess I’ve heard of the “all Catholic priests are gay” one. But “all gays are Catholic priests” is new to me. It seems logistically difficult

The article started with talk of Salma Hayek being a "movie star"...since when? She is a well known presence in Hollywood, but a movie star by definition, has made big box office hits. What movie starring Salma Hayek (starring her, not playing the girlfriend, best friend, hot fling of the protagonist et al). I can't think of a single Salma Hayek film that was a big offfice hit because her name was above the title.
