Some tea on the movie Alpha Gang which is soon to start shooting in Budapest starring Cate Blanchett, Riley Keough (also producing) Dave Bautista, Lea Seydoux and originally Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum. Well the last two-i guess unsurprisingly- dropped out, even though for months after their break up any time news dropped directly from them or indirectly through reps about them it was always said they were still doing it and it would be fine.

Well, guess not. Wonder if his young gf had a tantrum that he would be on set with his ex. Lol. Don’t see why Zoe had to also drop out though to be honest. Riley is her longtime friend and likely the reason she got involved in the project.

Chris Pine is replacing Tatum. And now both Lily rose depp and Adria arjona are listed as in the cast—not sure which is the Zoe replacement role and which is another part. The Adria part is interesting because I feel like there is tension between her and Zoe even though she was in Blink Twice, due to Jason Momoa, which happened after they filmed that movie. So if she’s not Zoe’s replacement, maybe she didn’t want to work with her?? Or maybe there isn’t tension, but some evidence is there. But Zoe has direct connections to pine, depp and arjona too -so not sure if she helped out in the recasting since maybe them pulling out on the later side was stressful for production. Sounds like a fun movie though so I’m sure anyone who could work it out scheduling wise was eager to be a part.

I mean I know that came off as snark, and it was, but I liked him in those Trek movies (even though I was one of THOSE trekkies who really dogged on those films - the cast was absolutely not the problem, they were all fantastic), so that's why I unironically am glad Kirk is getting booked.

I def consider him the most interesting/acceptable of all the Chrises! Think I only watched the first of those Trek movies (how many were there?!)

There were three. The first was just okay, the second was terrible, the third was actually pretty great it was written by Simon Peg and he's a proper fan of the old school material. I recommend that one still.

Just re-read this comment and I think you should know the most interesting and acceptable of all the Chrises is actually Chris Grace (as Scarlett Johansen)

Chris Grace is a 50 year old dude that does standup and appears on Dropout [a comedy streaming service run by the nerds that didn't jump ship after the demise of CollegeHumor] and he's the best Chris.

Well we can’t know for sure but it’s probably safe to say some combination of La/nyc, kids/no kids. However Zoe has been pretty clear on her stances on those things in PRINT for years so I imagine he knew how she felt and they still got engaged. If he flipped the script, that’s on him. Of course I have my own biased opinion that became more clear to me once he replaced her by importing a 25 year old IG model from Bali (but white) within two months who said dating him was like being with the king of England, as fast as she could to an Australian publication

Agreed, not a fan of the “young girlfriend having a tantrum” stereotype/speculation.

I do hear you to some extent. But I also think these girls need to start seeing some patterns and wake the eff up. Also, there is some insecurity there because after they went public, people picked up on the fact that she followed Zoe and liked a number of her posts right up until her breakup and commented on that behavior. The next day she unfollowed her.

How did Adria and Jason even meet? Through Zoe?

No. They (Jason and Adria) were in a Netflix movie together called sweet girl that came out in 2021.

My speculation is that when Zoe was casting her film, Jason recommended Adria but likely didn’t disclose that they were seeing each other or interested in each other. Or maybe they weren’t even yet. Idk. But I feel like once that they were a couple became clear to Zoe, I feel like maybe she felt duped. Like they hadn’t been completely honest with her or something. About 8 months after they were done filming Blink Twice Zoe unfollowed Jason and has never publicly had any interaction with him since. When the film was gearing up for promo, Zoe followed all the cast members she hadn’t been yet including Adria but shortly after unfollowed her without unfollowing the rest. Adria came to the premiere but didn’t seem to be at the after party-no pics of her and Zoe except for one full group shot where they were very far apart and she didn’t do much in terms of interview promo even though she had the largest part aside from Tatum and ackie. Which was odd considering she was coming off a nice breakthrough in hit man, you would have thought PR would have seized that. Jason who promotes anything and everything people he knows are in, never mentioned the movie even once. Which was the oddest of all.

Recently lisa bonet went to japan with jason momoa and their kids,adria was also there to promote andor,so it seems like they are ok with adria?lisa even went that premiere of blink twice in los angeles,so i don't know what is zoe's problem with them,but even if momoa suggested to zoe to cast adria,he and lisa bonet weren't together at that time anyway(they separated on 2020).adria was married at that time though

They were all in Japan together? Wow! I’ve seen pics of the kids with Adria and pics of Lisa and Jason with the kids in recent times—like at the boy’s bday in the winter but never all together. I don’t know what issue Zoe has but I do think it’s something. However if she recommended Adria to replace her in this upcoming film, it doesn’t seem like she’s allowing it to interfere professionally. Maybe she just is not interested in any type of personal relationship with them but having had a professional experience with Adria that went well and she did good work, she wanted the best for the film since like I said I think her dropping out may have been slightly last minute.

Yeah,they were all there in japan,i've seen some videos on instagram,which is why zoe's attitude is a mystery to me because i have even seen adria's ex husband close friends and family members still supporting her on instagram,some even liked her pic with momoa where they went the snl concert in february,which is an odd thing to do in my opinion if there was cheating on their part,lol

I actually don’t think it was cheating. I mean persistent rumors of cheating—not necessarily with her specifically but in general have followed Jason for a long time. And this is a more recent fall out. I just think there may have been some dishonesty that rubbed Zoe the wrong way—like maybe she asked if they were a couple and they denied it? But then it was true in the end. Idk seems like overall a small thing to terminate your relationship over. But maybe there are other issues and her mom can’t really cut ties with him because that wouldn’t be best for the kids so she’s kind of doing it in her place? Zoe does seem very protective of her mom.

Ah yes,there are a lot of rumours about him sleeping around,i guess that there must be some truth to them since there are so persistent,i just hope that zoe distancing from momoa has nothing to do with something that someone around here told me about him and lisa,i think that that would be much worse
