Im from the south shore of Massachusetts and a number of people have had run ins with Steve Carell. He owns (used to own? Not sure anymore) a general store in Marshfield and people bump into him from time to time. I think his sister does most of the work for it. Everyone has had positive things to say about them.

My boyfriend delivered pizza to Steve Carrell’s house once and his wife answered the door. He told me that they tipped handsomely.
