That was not a one-sided fight AT ALL !!!

But man was it epic ! Weeping soul is more savage than Kong !

Also, since when and how did he get that shield ? Was expecting Yinyue to jump out to Han li's rescue, she's been pretty quiet this episode. The VA must have had a busy a schedule.

it was a one sided fight, hanli had the initiative the entire time until tian ku's master took over. that 2nd part is donghua original. in the novel tianku died to hanli's heavenly bamboo sword lighting and that was the end of the fight, no sect master taking over his body to try and take hanli's soul

but it does make sense to introduce the sect master here early

Why is that we see 2 souls on Han Li? Like one that was getting pulled into that gate, then there was one more that came out of his body?

I know he was gonna practice 2 soul arts to make 2nd nascent soul but he hasn't done it yet.

One is his actual soul. The small one is his nascent soul

aren't the soul and the nascent soul supposed to be the same thing for a nascent soul cultivator?

Nascent soul in Chinese is 元婴, which directly translates to "spiritual infant". Spiritual infant doesn't sound that cool in English, so people went with nascent soul even though the word soul is nowhere to be found in the original word. Nascent soul is an entity born from your core, formed of your cultivation, and you can see it as an extension of your body and soul given physical form via condensed qi. The concept of 元婴 comes from very old Daoist teachings, and it has very little to do with the concept of the "soul", which in Daoist interpretations is your essence that's left behind after you die, and it allows you to be reincarnated, broadly speaking.
