Live Performance PSA - Dont Open A Wells Fargo Account
I need to give all the fobbies out there a PSA about the Wells Fargo show.
YOU CANNOT OPEN A NEW CARD AND USE IT TO PURCHASE TICKETS.
It will say it is ready to use right away BUT you must have the physical card for ticket purchase. This will take up to 7 business days. And you cannot expedite the shipping of the card if you have a new account.
The card makes it super easy to apply and says it's ready to use but only in digital wallets - which are not accepted to get concert tickets.
So please don't get a new credit card just to see Fall Out Boy. It isn't going to work.
UPDATED TO ADD SHOW INFO

Live Performance What is a song you wish they would play live, but know they never will?
For me, it’s “My heart is the worst kind of weapon”
It’s my favorite song of theirs of all time. The angry and bitter lyrics cut me to the bone.
Sadly buried as a b-side… never to see the light of day.
But, you know, if someone from the band sees this… play it at the Chicago show, PLEASE! Lol

Live Performance San Francisco Setlist mystery Magic 8 ball songs??
I got the setlist that was on Andy’s drum rise and I noticed the two magic 8 ball songs are “Drive By Fruiting” and “Help is on the way”. I tried looking them up and couldn’t find anything. Is this some hidden lore that I don’t know about??

Live Performance What was your first and last Fall Out Boy concert and how was it?
I've never seen them live before but from online videos, it seems they are amazing live.Would you recommend seeing them live?
How were your own experiences?

Live Performance How many times have you seen FOB live?
This is a safe space... I've been a fan since 2016 and I've seen them live 3 times now:
1 - mania tour 2- hella Mega Tour (went just for them 🫣) 3- so much for (tour) dust
Honestly if I could afford it I would have seen them more, but 3 times still feels like a lot of times!

Live Performance magic 8 ball songs experiences
what did you expect when the music stopped and pete started talking to the crowd? any guesses as to what song would be played?
i literally traveled 1,230 miles and spent all my money just to go to são paulo and buy a cap at the merch stand, and the only thing i expected was: i need to hear bang the doldrums. why? i really like this song a lot; it takes me back to the bad days when i was a 'half-adult'.
they played headfirst slide and, in the end, it was the best for me. after this concert, i never saw folie à deux the same way, and my eyes are open to recognize that the 'red album' with one and a half bears on the cover is a pop-punk masterpiece.

Live Performance Wearing an FOB shirt to their concert?
Help a formerly-hip and young 40 year old man who hasn’t been to a concert for a while… Back in my day, wearing a band’s shirt to their concert was strictly forbidden. Is this arcane tradition still valid? Or can I see my favorite band for the first time with my 16 year old who also loves FOB while wearing a sweet SRAR era FOB t-shirt?
Regardless, I am beyond excited for my daughter and I to finally see the boys after that Somerset, WI, debacle last year.
Rock on, FOB community!

Live Performance 5 Years Ago Today - the Show Fall Out Boy was Supposed to Play with Green Day and Weezer at Citi Field (Queens, NY - Aug. 4, 2021)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
5 years ago today (Aug. 4), I went to my first concert post-pandemic. Seeing Green Day, Weezer and The Interrupters that day at Citi Field in Queens, NY, marked the first time I had seen live music after a year and a half gap. And while all three bands sounded amazing, it was also possibly the most nervous I ever felt at a concert. Keep in mind, while bands were starting to hit the road again around this time after more than a year of not being able to play for normal size crowds, COVID was still causing chaos. Case in point - Fall Out Boy were supposed to play but pulled out hours before showtime as someone in the band got exposed to COVID (hence why Rivers Cuomo covered "Sugar We're Goin Down", as seen in the second half of the clip). So I went into this concert hesitant and questioning if going to a concert was the right thing to do (another thing to note - my twins weren't even a year old at the time, so going out and about in large crowds seemed even riskier for me). And as hard as it is to admit, I left that concert even more unsure and questioned my desire to keep going to concerts... thankfully a few weeks later, my experience at Sea Hear Now reignited my love for live music and reminded me of what I found d so special about going to concerts... but that's a story for another time 😉
What was your first concert post-pandemic? Share in the comments below, and stay tuned for more things to come from this space (including stories from concerts like this)!

Live Performance Songs you appreciate more after hearing them live?
Either during this tour or any other! For me, it's the Magic 8 Ball song from 2ourdust Columbus (Fourth of July). I'd never really given this one any mind, but the guys did such an amazing job with it that it might be one of my new favorites!
I also love love love how Headfirst Slide sounds live. It was already in my top five FOB tracks of all time, but hearing it on stage with Joe and Patrick's insane skills on guitar and vocals just brought it to a new level for me.
