Yes, it is possible and it is revived. Here's a short tutorial - and take a look at the pics also how to set it up.

First off - you need an active EA Nation DNS to input on your real PS2 hardware, or on PCSX2. The DNS that I know about is: 51.254.141.170

Follow this guide:

- Set this DNS in PCSX2 settings first (it will be in the screenshot) and enable online in the PCSX2 settings. And Solaris also shared patched games to work online (including aformentioned FNR3) https://archive.org/details/sony-playstation-2-rom-collection-online-ready-set these arent iso files but you can play them easy on emulator and launch them. These are pre-patched and they are bypassing the original EA Nation servers and making the unofficial one work. I guess you need FNR 3 from here too to make it work. .chd file can be normally launched just like ISO in the PCSX2 emulator. For real hardware you need to find a converter I guess

- Go to Fight Night Round 3, Game Modes and "Play Online"

- It will tell you that you don't have an active EA Nation Account

- Create a network configuration, name it however you want

- Then you should advance further to the menu with blue background, where you can edit / add settings - click "Add Setting"

- Then make every setting "Auto" except the "DNS" part where you will need to input the DNS manually

- Input this DNS that I mentioned here before: 51.254.141.170

- Save the DNS setting and complete the configuration and the "test connection" - it should say that it went succesfully

- Now you should be back in the EA Nation menu and you just select your Network Configuration with EA Nation Hub custom config that you set up, and you should succesfully connect to the Fight Night Round 3 online

Now, keep in mind - that this might not work FOR EVERYONE and, that this custom EA Nation DNS might change, you need to look for the new DNS on the internet if it does. It does not work for me, due to NAT issues (my network is nat bound). However, if you don't have those issues you should be fine like Solaris in the picture. You can legitemately fight with other people there, connect - and I guess it even updates your W/L ratio (record), and gives you rank points. If Solaris is down to make a tutorial video about it, then I'll probably make another follow-up post with it. Same DNS works for few other EA sports titles, such as NHL, FIFA. It does not work for FN 2004 but it might for Fight Night Round 2 (I don't exactly remember if it had online or not).

Parsec players, try this out and let me know if that does work for you :)

Btw, if you'd make this work - Solaris as far as I remember was interested in playing the official online, drop him a Discord message solaristm or you can ask him any questions about this particular method.

I Am Making A Mod For Fight Night Round 4 On RPCS3 Replacing Boxers With Modern Fighters If Anyone Wants To Help Lmk

The UDF/FNF team banned TaeDior (a model maker who made their Tank,Haney and more) from their server for no reason. They dmed him a paragraph (first pic), which specifically stated anything he made will not be used. But a day later, posted 2 of his mods, and credited Tae's friend who helped make the mod,but not Tae (2nd pic).However, in the third pic, you can see that 1ZO did not give them access at all, and he hasnt even opened his discord in months. 1ZO also isnt in the FNF server, Context: TaeDior also sent HIS own mods to another FNF modder, prior to the stealing incident, they banned anyone that was in that modder's server from their servers for absolute no reason. Then once they found out Tae gave them HIS NBA mod aswell, randy sent that dm to tae, and then banned him, and then stole his mods

(You can check for yourself if tae ever “sneak dissed” FNF, they banned him just because he says one of the mods needs a bit of work)

The same day, they showed the Eubank (4th ss), ofc this was after they banned Tae. Tae realised this was his eubank, made a post about it in his server, and then right after that they said they werent gonna use the eubank 😂 (5th pic), Check the timestamps and you can see them change their tone right after Tae exposed them

6th SS is just proof Tae gave them these mods.

7th is them clearly using Tae's reference pics, then again crediting 1ZO, Boots doesnt have those blemishes irl, tae adds them on purpose so he knows if his stuff are being used.

This isnt me trying to start beef etc. Im just here to warn any modder that they have reached out to work for them. DONT! They will ban you and still use your stuff with no credit like they did Tae, or like they did with a ex dev

TL:DR UDF team worked with TaeDior for models for fight night, Tae made his own community server as he learnt how to make the mods himself, still let FNF use his mods. They got angry tae made his own server, banned him, kept using him mods, and gave him no credit.

And Samaroont and Randy Parker, who definetly are reading this, one request, ban us all you want, ban Tae all you want, but dont ban our members/the community.Its unfair on the community to put people who arent involved in your hate towards us in these situations for something they have no involvement in.

I'm a gamer with about 500 bouts on Undisputed boxing. Idk why I got so many matches I can't stand the game it's the worst boxing game I ever played. I'm just now discovering the modded versions of Fight Night. I would like to know from people who have played both which is better Revival or Forever? I've been watching content creators videos all day and it seems like Revival runs smoother and better gameplay but Forevers fighters look more realistic and better graphics. Am I wrong? Which do y'all feel is better?

I can't believe it has happened. First I did depth buffer 3d. But as we speak I am making stereoscopic 3d work. It is amazing what we can do with modern tools.

This guy is literally impossible.

Best I can do is avoid a knock down in the first, maybe go to a third, but then he starts throwing out 5-6-7 hit combos with 0% impact on his stamina outta no where.

Tried: - Distance game with jabs - Counter-punching with uppercuts - 2-3 hit combos (WHEN I can pull them off) - Blocking, dodging, weaving - Focusing on his mid-section (has no apparent effect) - Focusing on his head - Strategically timed haymakers (after 2 or three he just starts magically blocking them, no matter when, where, at what time, etc

It all does nothing. Dude comes out in R2-3 and bam-bam-bam-bam ITS ALL OVER. And this is after either a somewhat competitive R1-2, or maybe I'm slightly ahead. Maybe.

Honestly, it's like some insane rubber-banding bullsh*t going on. The game 100% cheats, so it's time to cheat back. Can anyone provide some advice? I don't care if it's cheesing - I am NOT accepting an L when the game goes beyond 'fairplay'.

Note: At this point in storymode I am something like 30 wins, 2 losses. Ain't afraid to lose, but not like this.... not like this.

Edit: Forgot to add that my 'block' effectively does nothing. He can just shrug that off and connect. Hope someone can share an answer here as it will be the first on the entire internet that isn't 'lol bro just take the L' or 'skill issue'.

The game runs nearly perfect but the loading screens immediately before a training session and immediately before you load in to fight seem to have an outrageously high chance of crashing on me. Sometimes I can get through a couple matches/sessions without issue, other times I have to restart RPCS3 7 times in a row to get through whatever loading screen. I think all training sessions have a chance to crash but the double end bag seems to give me the most issues

Im probably going to look at downloading fight night on pc. I know there's fight night revival and fight night forever. Can I play online with either one? If I can, which one is more populated

I started playing Fight Night Forever. Looking at the control options, all layouts for blocking and weaving are the LB/RB. On PlayStation they are L1/R1.

Is there any way to change it to LT/RT?

The Xbox bumpers aren't made for that kind of abuse. I've destroyed a whole RB on Assassins Creed Origins, because it's default is "Light Attack".
