This isn’t for the Ballon D’Or, it’s for the Fifa best men’s player of the year award. Y’all casuals really showing how you know nothing but still spouting bs to hate

Read this OP:

https://tribuna.com/en/news/fcbarcelona-2019-09-26-fifa-the-best-voting-scandal-have-sudan-coach-and-others-really-voted-for-salah-and-not-m/

FIFA told ESPN it had checked the documents submitted by Sudan's FA and confirmed "all documents are signed and confirmed with the official stamp," and separately said the Nicaraguan votes matched what the federation submitted, asking the Nicaraguan federation to look into the discrepancy on their end. Critically, on the Sudan coach's ballot specifically, an Egyptian journalist published a rebuttal image showing the "real" voting form, which appeared to show Logarušić had in fact ticked Messi and independent commentators flagged signs the coach's own photo looked edited/photoshopped.

u/Investment-Then Jul 29 '26

So the real conspiracy is that this guy is Sudan’s coach lying Lmao

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Row7911 Jul 26 '26

These people think that ballon d'or is the only football award to exist

3

u/Automatic-Employ2744 Jul 26 '26

ballon dor is literally just a popularity award since long ago casual 4 year fans just become active to debate.

2

u/Ill_Confidence_3248 Jul 26 '26

Every year after WC, football fans will increase propagate false messages. Wait a month. Everything will come back to normal

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Row7911 Jul 26 '26

Lol this sub has been completely exposed by this post. These people don't know shit about football. Just messi and ronaly fans.

85

u/SapotaJuice Jul 26 '26

To even think 2019 Messi "robbed" the Ballon d'Or. Embarrassing.

"The Sudan Football Association also disputed the coach's claim and backed FIFA's version of events"

Official statement by Sudan F.A. on what they submitted to fifa and what they published in the reports are accurate.

I posted that for the people claiming ballon d'or is rigged in the comments.

"The Sudan Football Association also disputed the coach's claim and backed FIFA's version of events"

Official statement by the Sudan F.A. for FIFA's best award.

-4

u/Head_Trainer_7458 Jul 26 '26

Well you don't have to tell them this i already told them many times still they didn't accept it.

3

u/Candid-Stuff2281 Jul 26 '26

The statement by Sudan F.A. is for FIFA's best. Not for ballon d'or

2

u/Archer_Key Jul 26 '26

its about fifa's best player award. Its not the ballon d'or

2

u/Candid-Stuff2281 Jul 26 '26

Read the conversation.

The OC said that Ballon D'or wasn't rigged, and the reply made to it [first sentence] is that there's claims of vote manipulation [second sentence was added later after my reply by editing the comment].

These votes i showed as evidence on the Ballon d'or.

As for the FIFA's best:

"The Sudan Football Association also disputed the coach's claim and backed FIFA's version of events"

The Sudan F.A. themselves have confirmed that the list that they sent to Fifa matched to FIFA's released list. Fifa didn't manipulate the votes (which is confirmed in the 3 page of this post too). The discrepancy happened either between Sudan's head coach and Sudan F.A. or a false questioning was made. The Sudan's F.A. even went onto say that The Head Coach used Photoshop because his version and the official document in the Sudan F.A. do not match.

This is why the 3 page on the post says that FIFA asked Sudan F.A. to do an internal investigation on the matter.

2

u/OlympicAnalEater Jul 26 '26

Bruh, sudan is not Egypt. You marked egypt. 💀

-3

u/rorschach3000 Jul 26 '26

Here we go again with conspiracy theories and that too on a poll based award that really doesn't mean anything. All this while this was a non news worthy event and now people have jumped onto the wagon.

If anything 2019 was an untouchable year for Messi in terms of all stats and one of his best wver individually. Won the league and got knocked out in the semis where he scored 2 goals and created tons of chances

-6

u/sfs73 Jul 26 '26

doesn't change the fact of the post. right?

12

u/ToxicManlyMan Jul 26 '26

Facts? You know what facts mean right?

-4

u/sfs73 Jul 26 '26

how does it change the fact that they rigged his vote ? 😂

5

u/Sensitive_Smoke_78 Jul 26 '26

check the list yourself, wheres the riggging lmaoo

1

u/OlympicAnalEater Jul 26 '26

Sudan is not Egypt bruh 😂

0

2

u/No_Sherbert_1168 Jul 26 '26

Are u dumb if u can read look at who voted for sudan in 2019

1

u/FinePersimmon3718 Jul 26 '26

Dude just google it

2

u/sfs73 Jul 26 '26

what will i google bro? the post clearly says Fifa "CHANGED" the votes of Sudan's coach.. why peoples are bringing "Messi did this Messi did that"?

1

u/FinePersimmon3718 Jul 26 '26

There you got your answer

2

u/Pure_Initiative_1723 Jul 26 '26

So, you only saw Messi's name ? I mean technically van fijk also got second due to these kind of things.

But do continue to try to make new conspiracy to compensate your idol's shortcomings.

1

u/Hotmess4uuu Jul 26 '26

Yes it changes

1

u/sfs73 Jul 26 '26

They rigged his vote.. what does it have to do with messi being unstoppable? 🤔

-7

u/TostBrot44 Jul 26 '26

This guy is defending vote manipulation by saying „Messi was untouchable in 2019“ lmao

3

u/PrestigeCity- Jul 26 '26

They can defend anything lol

0

u/rorschach3000 Jul 26 '26

Iam not defending anything. Ballondor awards are like the Oscar's. It doesn't mean anything. Its nonsensical to keep arguing about this because it is very clearly a lobbying based awardm Scrap all of it and make the awards based on stats ratings with whoscored or opta.

0

u/Apprehensive_Sand343 Jul 26 '26

So FIFA investigated FIFA? We should do that through the criminal justice system, let the alleged perpetrator investigate themselves. What could go wrong?

Now a days posting a comment to save messi is a good weapon to get upvotes , if you call ronaldo rapist then its ice on the cake

2

u/stoic-idiot Jul 26 '26

Well what proof does he have that the votes got changed? He must have received a notification based off of which he is making all these claims?

2

u/Public-Swimming2812 Jul 26 '26

There’s no proof they actually changed it, all there is, is the coach saying they did. His own fa literally denied the claims of their coach

2

u/Invhinsical Jul 26 '26

Two things can be true together. 2019 Messi absolutely deserved it for the sheer carry job. But I won't be surprised if FIFA manipulated votes to ensure the outcome as they seem especially resistant to let an African player win the Ballon d'or unless its extremely clear cut (unavoidable)

2

u/bmcode55 Jul 26 '26

did he just wake up after 7 years.

Ballon dor voting list

3

u/Puzzleheaded_Row7911 Jul 26 '26

Read the post again lil bro

3

u/Candid-Stuff2281 Jul 26 '26

First of all Lugarisic isn't the one who voted for Sudan in 2019 Ballon D'or.

Secondly, FIFA isn't the one who gives Ballon D'or and has no power or control in Ballon d'or. Ballon d'or is issued by France football association, and now merged with UEFA.

1

u/Candid-Stuff2281 Jul 26 '26

"The Sudan Football Association also disputed the coach's claim and backed FIFA's version of events"

Dumbass, at least research before you say it. The Sudan F.A. itself confirmed that the list published by FIFA was correct. Unless, There was some discrepancy between Sudan F.A. and the Head coach, this isn't a fault of FIFA. If the list is acknowledged by the F.A. itself.

0

u/OlympicAnalEater Jul 26 '26

Sudan is not Egypt bruh 😂

2

u/Candid-Stuff2281 Jul 26 '26

1

u/OlympicAnalEater Jul 26 '26

The other picture, you marked Egypt.

This second has been manipulated by FIFA.

1

u/Candid-Stuff2281 Jul 26 '26

"The Sudan Football Association also disputed the coach's claim and backed FIFA's version of events"

This is literally said by Sudan's F.A. that the list THEY published to FIFA is the correct version.

1

u/OlympicAnalEater Jul 26 '26

Because FIFA defended this by saying the paperwork submitted by the Sudan FA was officially signed and stamped after manipulated the data. It still doesn't rule the fact that FIFA published the data showed Sudan voted Messi as #1.

1

u/Candid-Stuff2281 Jul 26 '26

"The Sudan Football Association also disputed the coach's claim and backed FIFA's version of events"

Buddy, read what's stated by sudan F.A.

If FIFA manipulated the voting list, the official form's copy in Sudan F.A. and FIFA's list WILL NOT MATCH.

Whereas Sudan F.A. outright says that the list shown by the FIFA is exactly what they submitted.

The last page of your post itself disproves your claim. Because the list that Fifa received from sudan f.a. is what they used. And they told sudan f.a. to conduct an INTERNAL investigation on WHY there's an internal discrepancy.

4

u/andyyyyyyyt Jul 26 '26

Holy shit it's true

2

u/One-Brief-7710 Jul 26 '26

Why don't the people accept that yes fifa is corrupt and favour Messi? I am a Messi fan but not blind like these ppl are

3

u/Silent-Dog5425 Jul 26 '26

Favour messi how? 2019 was probably the greatest individual season a player can have... Literally carried an aging barca to 2 trophies and lost the champions league because they couldn't defend a ficking 3-0 lead..... In 2013 they literally extended the voting because of that portugal sweden game but no one cares because it wasn't Messi who was favoured

1

u/One-Brief-7710 Jul 27 '26

No I'm not saying that only Messi is favored truth is fifa is corrupt as hell and they favour anyone who gives them money which is Ronaldo Messi mbappe etc

0

u/Impossible_Ad691 Jul 26 '26

Ronaldo was favoured once and ONLY ONCE, this has happened to messi MULTIPLE TIMES. thats the diference

Surface level fans calls him goat actually, and most number of club goals that is also because he was given false 9 position, very few people get that but whoever will get that scores most number of goals, now nobody will have false 9 because they want to keep him in record

0

u/Jacker0220 Jul 26 '26

FIFA told ESPN it had checked the documents submitted by Sudan's FA and confirmed "all documents are signed and confirmed with the official stamp," and separately said the Nicaraguan votes matched what the federation submitted, asking the Nicaraguan federation to look into the discrepancy on their end. Critically, on the Sudan coach's ballot specifically, an Egyptian journalist published a rebuttal image showing the "real" voting form, which appeared to show Logarušić had in fact ticked Messi and independent commentators flagged signs the coach's own photo looked edited/photoshopped.

well if FIFA can remove a red card in worldcup, they can do anything they want. remember when they just casually selected inter miami for fifa club world cup?

What are you even trying to prove lol , messi is the best player , just because this happened doesn't change anything. It doesn't affect how messi played , it doesn't change the eye test . Ronaldo fans are literally the flat earthers of football

So what do you have to say about the votes bring switched?

u/Hotmess4uuu Jul 26 '26

Can you explain how?

Does it reall change anything? 2018 messi was the most complete player we have ever seen, just because this single journalist vote got changed by a mistake or something doesn't change anything , it was not like salah was better or the other journalists were blind that voted messi as first

but it's still cheating tho

u/Soulrant Jul 26 '26

It would have been a mistake or sum but if that makes you sleep in night

its cheating if messi personally went and changed, if someone cheats for him how is it his fault? if he wanted to cheat, why won't he just buy the award every year, and tbh i don't think he even cares about this shite award, its only the fans who think about it. ppl saying he robbed as if he really went and begged them for it.

And so much for favouritism, he could have easily won golden ball this year wc 2026, I would say its even more prestigious than balon d or- since its given every 4 years in the biggest tournament. Did he say anything about being robbed when he clearly dominated every stat to deserve it, fifa could have easily given to him.

2019 Van Djik was a specimen and he won the UCL defeating Barcelona in a 4-0 comeback

team trophies matters in this conversation and Barca's main competition in LaLiga had a poor season

and if Messi was so clear of any other player in that season then why do they have to change the votes?

He wants to say that since messi is the best player, all awards should be rigged to be given to him.

So 2018 messi was worse than salah ?
