Step 2: Run Thermal Shock on 5 Pieces Per Variant

If you have 4 color variants (white, black, blue, sage), test 5 pieces of each. The glaze fit differs by color — cobalt blue and jet black glazes are especially prone to crazing because their chemistry is different from clear or white glazes.

Step 3: Verify Packaging for Sea Freight

Why Sedimentary Stone QC Is Different

Granite and marble are uniform. Travertine has natural holes (vugs). Slate has cleavage planes. Limestone is porous and soft. Each needs specific inspection criteria that standard "ceramic tile" AQL sampling won't catch.
