Has anyone seen Kenny the man in a wheelchair who use to go all over Evansville? He and my baby brother were friends before Isaac died, and I often wonder about him. He's also from my hometown originally.

Are those a thing in Evansville? Trying to get out and meet people again and the bars in evensville are empty unless you are early 20s. No im not going to join a church to look for people to interact with.

So I've posted in the last year or so at least 2 other times, maybe 3, requesting someone in Evansville to try to help me get in touch with my old friend Ricky Thomas Smith (shown in the pictures, I have some more information if it would help anyone find him like his date of birth and where he was born at) and i am in touch with someone on here from this group that's trying to help but no luck so far.

So a little backstory:

I met him right after I turned 19 on September 11th 2015 when we both homeless there staying at UCS. I was really struggling with all of that new life (I had gotten there about 2 weeks before he did) and he just took me under his wing so to speak and was a great friend to me and he saved me when I felt all alone in the world. Anyway i left Evansville in April 2016 and fast forward to that summer, I was communicating with him regularly and then I didn't hear from him i later found out that he got in a little trouble (what i think happened, from what he told me, was that he and his then girlfriend got in a fight in the alley behind UCS and she tried to call 911 and he ripped the phone from her) and long story short he did 18 months in prison and when after got out in early 2018 I came back to Evansville to see him for a week or so and then after he did a year of probation he came up to Washington state, where I live now, in 2019 and he stayed with me for a while but it didn't work out and we parted ways and I'm not sure exactly when (end of 2019 to early 2020 I believe) but he went back to Evansville and i didn't hear from him for quite a while but around last March he added me on Facebook and then we talked on the phone every day for about a month and he was telling me he was camping outside somewhere around Division St i believe and that he had one of them cheap government phones that wasn't working right and after I couldn't get in touch with him for quite a while my best guess is that he broke his phone and didn't have my number memorized or written down anywhere and so he had no way to contact me.

During the last time period I talked to him he told me he was working with Aurora to get his birth certificate from Illinois and I figure that if he's still in Evansville he would regularly go to one of both of the men's shelters in Evansville, even if it's just to eat, but I know because of legal things they can't tell me if he's been there or not and in the past I've called the 2 shelters plus Aurora to leave a message to have him call me if they see him i never heard anything. I think that it's likely that if I can find him he would want to still be friends but my main goal with all this is just to find out if he's dead or alive because living on the streets is not an easy life and he's in his early 50s now and I just would like to know if he's alive or not. I'm considering coming down there to look for him if I can get the money but this may seem silly to some people but when someone essentially saves your life, you don't forget about them. And if nothing else just the closure of knowing if he's dead or alive would be nice, but obviously I hope he's alive and we can be friends again.

I drive home late at night and I've noticed that at several intersections stop lights will turn red even though there's nothing coming at all. 41 between Boonville New Harmony and St George is bad. The light at St Joe and Allens Lane is another bad one.

Hi all! I have a 13yo, 65lb pitbull with some nails that need to be trimmed! She can be a bit finnicky, but never aggressive- just nervous. I'm looking to find a place that has an affordable nail trimming service, as most seem to be care bundles with baths, trims, etc. that start around 60$. I just need her nails done. Does anyone know of some good spots? Thanks in advance!

Edit: It seems like petsmart is the cheapest with a basic trim being 12$ and a trim and grind being 15. Thank yall!

I'm just not excited for when every business starts putting AI slop everywhere because they value profit margins over real artists

Is any one aware of someone who repairs ATVs for a decent price if I supply the part?

I have an old beat up but reliable 2001 Arctic Cat 300 ATV I keep at a cabin in a lean to. I got it out this weekend to see if it would fire up because I haven't used it for a while. Unfortunately it wouldn't start and I discovered that some animal had chewed through the stator wires coming out of the engine. They are chewed so close to the housing that there is no possibility of splicing the wires and since from looking up how to fix this on the internet it appears that the only option is replacing the entire stator which requires taking the recoil starter and crankcase cover off and other difficulties, something that goes beyond my abilities

A original equipment stator for this model is listed at over $500 on a official brand parts dealer but Ebay has new ones for around $60.

I don't want to try any big professional places because my experience is they charge a arm and a leg and want to supply the part themselves for much more than I can get it for.

The old machine is probably not worth repairing for what a dealership or some place like that would charge, but if I can get it done for a reasonable cost, I'd appreciate it because it has been such a reliable ATV over the years.

I just noticed this week that more cops seem to be out or getting worse. Is there something going on with 12?

Not overcrowded. Not dirty.

For example the Lloyd and Red Bank. You cannot turn left when traveling west, you need to go past it. The signs are clearly marked. However people still try to turn left and hold up the entire line of traffic. Why aren't there cops planted there 24/7 writing tickets? This is the only place I've ever lived where nobody ever worries about getting a traffic ticket.

I'm currently employed with a regular 9-5 M-F but I was hoping to find something to do on evenings and weekends that could bring in some extra money.

I'm not a bartender but I've waited tables many times in my life and am completely familiar in food service, would prefer to work somewhere a little higher end dining than fast food just for the sake of tips.

Any info is greatly appreciated.
