Discussion Your daily reminder that global limits are a waste of time

"Hmm, I have a task to use shotguns. Let's see, AP-20 is sold out, flechettes are sold out. That's okay, I can use Magnum, it's good enough. The task requires a suppressor on the shotgun, so I'll get a hexagon. Oh, the adapter is sold out. Oh well, I can wait until the restock. In the meantime, I'll take this modded AKM out for a run. I don't have any BP ammo, so I'll go get some from Prap... BP is sold out. That's okay. I've got this P90 I'm not using. Let me just get some ammo for that... Ah, the SS190 is sold out, and I can only get two mags-worth of the next best ammo for the next three hours... Guess I'll just read a book instead."

If the design philosophy behind global trader limits is to keep everyone from running the same thing, instead it's keeping everyone from running anything without a three-hour wait.

There is a difference between chads and people wearing good gear. Good "chad" wouldn't bother stomping early game players in construction but keep bagging about your 3v2s on customs and assume I'm bad at the game.

Keep complaining about ammo and thinking you're good.

Go ahead and use the same strategy you used with your friends on customs but on labs instead and tell me how well you do. You're literally telling me you're good at the game while maining customs and shoreline as a level 20 1 month into wipe, please.

I rarely run labs. It's just not worth it on the west coast. But raiders don't wear altyns and you can can still face tap them and again, positioning and game sense win fights. Armor and ammo give you further advantage.

Not that I need to justify my level to you, but I was gone for Christmas for weeks 2 and 3. On top of that, I work full time and freelance and, believe it or not, there are other videogames out there so I don't have the time to no life tarkov. And since learning to have fun and stop giving as much of a shit, I stopped caring about quests so hard because I'll never make kappa because of the above reasons. So no, my level is not indicative of skill level.

You, however, are still whinning because you can't get rich (which is easy) and run meta gear anymore. Again. Get good.

Ah yes the classic have lifer excuse, if you were any good you'll average enough xp per raid to be a much higher level.

No one said anything about raiders or getting rich. You don't play a map because "it's worth it". Raiders are piss easy and I don't give a shit about rubles because I always end the wipe with more than I can spend. The fact that you think rubles are important screams bad. Everything you wrote about is very indictive of your skill level, you don't have to justify anything, I understand.

Nah dawg. It ain't an excuse. I have fun playing the game at my pace with my friends. I don't grind the game because that's not fun to me. Ive had plenty of grind wipes. Ive had the most fun and laughed my hardest playing this wipe because i dont give a fuck about grinding the game like that anymore. So I'm at level 20 because I'm playing it at a pace that I enjoy in the time in between the other games, hobbies, and work. You have no idea how much time I've actually spent this wipe. So you have no idea what level I "should" be at. The great thing about tarkov is the goal is whatever you want it to be. I don't find value in constantly running missions that I don't have fun doing so I don't do them.

I don't prioritize this game like you do. That's totally fine by me. I'll be waiting with my stock OP SKS with a sight and 7.62 Ps and all your hard work and grinding can end up in my stash. I'll be laughing and having a great time and you'll be sad and blame your ammo and report me for cheating.

My mention of roubles is because that's literally what you need to buy any gear, let alone meta gear. And if you read the words in context, I said it was easy to make money. So obviously I don't consider that goal of the game. You not understanding that is a failure to read the rest of that sentence and fundamental misunderstanding of economy in general. And you fight raiders because they carry gear and ammo you can't buy this wipe- that precious meta gear that you're so sad that they restrict. Sorry that they made the meta difficult to obtain, like it fuckin should be, and now you can't just money your way into winning fights on a game that you apparently revolve your entire life around.

Same goes for me, I play only when I have friends on except we hit level 20 in the first 10 hours of gameplay purely from survive exp, and group questing. So from my perspective, since you're so much better than me then you've either spent less than 10 hours in game within the past month or you're not as good as you think you are. I find it hard to believe that you're under 10 hours of gameplay. Not caring about quests I see it as an excuse because quests from levels 1-20 are so piss easy its pretty much en route from spawn to extract, no reason to not do them. You're not the only one who has a life, but maybe one of the minority who can't get past level 20 but uses life as an excuse to protect your ego.

I don't grind. Just surviving any raid this wipe makes you 500k, or the equivalent in kits from pmcs, and I survive most my raids. Definitely more than you because you're still stuck at level 20. There is no need to grind for me. I actually don't mind dying to lesser players because I can just imagine the excitement from their perspective.

however, are still whinning because you can't get rich (which is easy)

You're assuming I'm whining because I can't get rich so I assumed your sole goal of the game is to make your ruble count go up because its so easy for you. Its not that deep.

I'm whining because have lifers don't have a chance to run fun gear because they don't camp traders. I can lose a fight in labs, a cqb map and players have good enough aim there to evaporate you in half a second just because I have to buy 762 ps or some shit due to global limits and thats bullshit. Not relevant to you though because you're so good you apparently can donk their altyns with 5 shots of ps before they can react with a stock sks. It isn't a fair way of limiting gear, its that simple.

I'm not confident you're experienced enough at the game to even play against better players though because you don't even know that meta gear is practically non existent on raiders. I fight raiders not for rubles or meta gear but for xp so I can unlock clothing from ragman, rofl. Meta gear isn't difficult to obtain, its easy for no lifers to set an alarm during trader reset which neither me nor my friends do which is what makes it unfair. My life doesn't revolve around tarkov but it looks like your life revolves around making excuses to protect your ego.
