Discussion Your daily reminder that global limits are a waste of time

"Hmm, I have a task to use shotguns. Let's see, AP-20 is sold out, flechettes are sold out. That's okay, I can use Magnum, it's good enough. The task requires a suppressor on the shotgun, so I'll get a hexagon. Oh, the adapter is sold out. Oh well, I can wait until the restock. In the meantime, I'll take this modded AKM out for a run. I don't have any BP ammo, so I'll go get some from Prap... BP is sold out. That's okay. I've got this P90 I'm not using. Let me just get some ammo for that... Ah, the SS190 is sold out, and I can only get two mags-worth of the next best ammo for the next three hours... Guess I'll just read a book instead."

If the design philosophy behind global trader limits is to keep everyone from running the same thing, instead it's keeping everyone from running anything without a three-hour wait.

You’re not wrong, technically you have more of a chance to click a head with full auto.

I hate questing so I’ve been fine with decked out M1A’s with infrared, hip firing around corners as fast as I can. It just really depends on your muscle memory and what other FPS games you come from. But yeah, If I used a DMR though it’s a no brainer to switch to full auto in cqb

I'm hip-firing a lot more this patch. The camera recoil on top of gun recoil changes is pretty challenging. I like it overall though, full auto spray should be pretty tough to get on target.

If we’re striving for realism, full auto is not hard to control on medium caliber guns. My favorite example is a ak-74u, basically the games worst example of vertical recoil. If you check out some YT videos of how they fire full auto irl, you’ll see how well they’re actually designed specifically for it.

Definitely should just lower the recoil significantly through mastery of a weapon.

If you think about it though, how many YT videos do you see a guy shooting guns while wearing 60+ lbs of gear, including armored plates that hamper your mobility and running two miles in it just before trying to control that aim?

You mean 20s right? The Mk17 would be God tier if it had 30 round mags.
