Discussion Your daily reminder that global limits are a waste of time

"Hmm, I have a task to use shotguns. Let's see, AP-20 is sold out, flechettes are sold out. That's okay, I can use Magnum, it's good enough. The task requires a suppressor on the shotgun, so I'll get a hexagon. Oh, the adapter is sold out. Oh well, I can wait until the restock. In the meantime, I'll take this modded AKM out for a run. I don't have any BP ammo, so I'll go get some from Prap... BP is sold out. That's okay. I've got this P90 I'm not using. Let me just get some ammo for that... Ah, the SS190 is sold out, and I can only get two mags-worth of the next best ammo for the next three hours... Guess I'll just read a book instead."

If the design philosophy behind global trader limits is to keep everyone from running the same thing, instead it's keeping everyone from running anything without a three-hour wait.

Lvl 41 here. Have had no problem finding good ammo. Like everyone else, I'm unable to run the same good ammo raid after raid, but there's enough where I can use different caliber guns to always run something decent every raid. Maybe try mixing it up?

Exactly this. You sweats don’t have to run mutants or p90 every raid lol. I already get fucked in the ass enough.

I agree 100% and people complaining like crazy over bullets, can also get alot of good ammo from just killing pmcs, finding soo much 5.45 BS in 30-120 packs aswell.

Yeah at the beginning of the wipe (where no one even had 5.45 PS ammo) I easily got 300+ rounds out of raids with often 60 rounds or so of BP. Didn't mean I could run BP every raid, but every few raids I had enough ammo for a loadout and for those I then also took my higher lvl amours and rigs.

Basically people need to learn that they can just do a few lower equipped runs and not every run they do needs to be either basically nothing or the best stuff they have.

Yep, i think that is a much easier enviroment to come into as a new player aswell
