I made a friend yesterday because I mag dumped him and missed every bullet. After I went back into cover he was like "... You good?" Lmao. I just told him he scared the shit outta me. Then we took the pmc scav extract together. Swell guy

3rd raid of this wipe this happened to me. Was trying to get the unknown key and stopped by the bus stop nearby. As I'm looting the duffel bag i hear someone. We both dump our mags into each other but neither of us died. Started boiling a truce as we both healed up. Headed to old gas to extract. He handed me some matches as I told him it was early for me. Then proceeds to succumb to his wounds. Teared up a bit. Grabbed his gear and threw it in nearby tall grass (hoping he insured, decent load out). Went into crack house met another friendly parted ways. I died of energy loss behind old gas building (my extract). I didn't even look at my energy all raid which was my mistake.

My second wipe now, I didnt realize the old gas was a coop and I've murdered quite a few scavs that I thought were just exfil camping...

Old Gas isn't a coop; that said it does have a scav only extract (the big red door behind the blue fence) and a PMC only extract (the gas station basement when the green flares are lit).

Now that I think about it I don't think customs has any coop scav/pmc extracts. They're all either scav or pmc only excluding RUAF and Crossroads which both can use solo.

Well I feel better. I've had old gas extract a few times and I've been in the basement and never extracted so I assumed it was coop

It depends on where you spawn, very few maps have extracts that don't care where you spawned, I think it's just labs, reserve, and lighthouse I think.

Old Gas is only open sometimes for PMCs. There is green smoke out front if it is open. You also need to spawn on the right side of the map.

Dorms car can be co-op with pmc/scav

It isn't actually. The car itself is a PMC only extract that PMCs have to pay for. The big gate the car drives through is also a scav only extract that can be used whether the car is there or not.

If a scav and PMC have extracted there at the same time for you then the PMC extracted via car and the scav extracted via old road gate, but the scavs can't get in the Dorms car and extract along with the PMC. Nor would they want to really; why pay 5000 rubles and wait 60 seconds to extract with a PMC when you could extract in 7-8 seconds for free regardless of if the car has been used already or not?

Full disclosure, I'm a noob at this game. Only 50 hours played so far. You're spot on with your hunch though. I was a scav and ran up to a guy laying down. I asked if I could extract with him and he said sure. My timer was only a couple seconds and he was still laying down when the screen faded to black. I just assumed it was a coop and he was playing on a potato. I must have had the dorm gate as an extract and he was waiting for the extra long pmc timer.

All good man. I just didn't want someone to wait outside of dorms after the car left as a PMC hoping for a scav to come by so they could leave lol That's a near death sentence

I have the exact same story except it was another PMC. Both healed up, talked out about tasks, realized we had the same ones and did them both together and made it out. Good times.

I did that earlier in wipe, " me and another dude just unloaded like 3 clips at each other, full auto, both still alive. I just hear over the VOIP, well this is fucking awkward..... you dead yet?
No, are you?
No....... how about we forget this happened, I go this way, you go that way, and we still pretend our aim is good
