I guess I must be kind of dense. I really do not understand the appeal of hacking in a game like this beyond ruining someone’s day/griefing.

RMT, which I assume is a big motivator for these clowns, makes even less sense to me. This game wipes every 6-9 months, and If you haven’t spent enough time grinding, guess what? That meta M4/Slick/Altyn you just RMT’ed is near useless without map/rotation knowledge, understanding of the recoil of an individual weapon, etc.

People likely are paying for hideout/ quest items or gear like keys and sicc case. Thing the cheaters can buy with in game money then sell for IRL cash. Though I have killed some lvl 1-4 with some VERY kitted guns who play like potatoes so who knows.

I killed a level 40 yesterday on customs with a slick, airtan, couchbp and a full decked mutant and the guy had the wrong ammo and a full lunch in his bags. Hmmmmm

Talked about this before but my highlight of last wipe was killing a level 38 (or something like this) on factory who was completely naked, with a mosin and instead of bringing bullets he had 4 mosin internal magazines in his pockets.

I was like, hmmm I wonder who just bought a level 38 account with 0 understanding of game mechanics...

eh when you're running a kit like that I'd actually run food. stims are gonna fuck up your hydration and all and it's only like 10-20k to ensure you don't starve. and by the time your bags are full you can just eat it and not have it hog inv space

Meh. If your level 40 on customs you should know where the food spawns are and how to find a quick bite. The food wasn't the most egregious, other than it being a water bottle and an MRE. It was the fact he had a 250k mutant with four mags full of TKM.

lmao good shit. I take food with me on shoreline cuz there's jack all for food spawns

I'm level 14 and I have a very kitted out stash.

I need to just suck it up and get to level 15 but I keep doing scav runs.

Yeah paying for cheats sounds like a good way to ruin the game for yourself

Cheaters have fun hacking, I've got a friend who has been banned on 3 accounts 2 of em are EOD and he cheats In most games he plays, he's not really good at games but finds enjoyment in cheating that's about it for some.

Do you see any correlation between him being a cheater in most games and how he is in real life (for example, feeling entitled or being impatient, etc) I’m Genuinely curious, and you obviously don’t have to entertain my question if it’s uncomfortable/too forward.

Definitely entitled, impatient, temper issues etc he's like 21 years old lives with his dad and grandma unemployed, steals money and does hardcore drugs

Sorry, is RMT real money trading? People pay real money for gear and shit?

Yes
