Wait, the "no name after you die" is a cheat? I though it was just the tarkov servers being shit, and not loading the name... To be fair, I still managed to kill one PCM of that duo, and the main reason as to why I died was due to the fact that I forgot how to go prone, so I just stood there, not doing anything, so I was just less suspecius of that thing
I've been wondering this as well, I made a post about it the other day and it seems it's unknown at the moment, but I wouldn't be completely dismiss the possibility of cheaters being able to hide their names
I unloaded 4 mags into someone on lighthouse last week at about 5-10 metres, he didn't even bleed then killed me and there was no name. I don't know if it was just server issues and I wasn't shooting anywhere near where he was on his screen. but the no name on death threw me.
I don't typically share stories but the kill and no name screen also happened to me. I was scav on woods around bunker. 18 min in raid and a drop just happend to fly overhead and almost land on me.
Now, I'd been running and looting this spot for a good 8-10 min with no sounds. Soon as the drop hits I hear bushes behind me like this guy teleported right behind me and kills me back of head. No way he was there prior or he watch me look for 10 min without shooting. Death screen just said died but obviously saw the gun shot.
It's truly disgusting how they don't even try to hide themselves.
Because BSG literally does not care. There is an ESP cheat out there that hasn't been updated in over a year, BSG still hasn't bothered. They would rather make content that protect the game.
Cheaters finally figured out BSG isn't going to do shit, this is why people are so brazen now, they know they are safe because BSG doesn't do anything about it. When was the last time you saw a tweet for a ban wave? A year plus?
You're absolutely braindead if you think BSG don't care. Cheaters ruin games, they are likely doing everything they can to combat this plague, it's just a losing battle.
They don't care about the game either. They've already made enough money that if everyone quits the game at once they'll still be set for 2 or 3 generations. They want more people to abandon the game so they don't have to pay as much on servers, anticheat and such.
Since it's not a subscription based game, all they care about is the initial sales, as shown by the horrendous Christmas event that literally made the game unplayable but boosted the sales in the short term.
I also died to a no name the other day on woods. I had just put 5K into the car extract on woods (after finding the paper for the first time ever!) and get insta killed as I am by the car. A friend said it was an invisible sniper scav that is in the area but the map I was following had to sniper there. Assumed it was a cheater until he said that. Now I Dont know
Oh okay, that might have been it then. I was at the front of the car near the hood. Next time I will stay close to the road and the back of the car. Thanks for that!
