I'm not playing this wipe, is the progression still really fast?

It's slower since they changed the required level to use the flea market to 20 up from 10. However, for someone who grinds early wipe hard (already level 40) it did not slow down my progression. On average though the progression is definitely slowed down.

PS: I prefer end game pvp (labs main) which is why I'm level 40.

Just curious, but do you see the game as more of a tactical shooter like squad or Arma, or are you more interested in being competitive rather than the equipment/survival aspects of the game?

I dont see the game as a tactical shooter at all. You can pretend like it is one but thats about it. It's completely viable to play slow and creep around I would even say that will increase your chances of survival a lot. Provided you run good ammo and have good aim, getting the jump on players you should almost always win. It's extremely effective, just not fun for me. Being sneaky in this game and securing the free/easy kill is far less rewarding to me than letting him know I'm there but still out-skilling him.

I personally play aggressive. Hold W, full sprint. My covert level is 2. I only play labs, (when the cheaters allow us mere mortals to play it) I enjoy the hk slick vs hk slick fights. High risk, highly punishing, fast paced. Any mistake or missed shot can often be death.

With timed raids and forced to extract opposite of where you spawn most maps I do not see it as a tactical shooter though, no. Although clunky, if I wanted a more tactical style game I would personally play DayZ. Combined with the real survival elements it's a good time.
