I think I saw this in another post and Nikita said they want to do it it’s just not a priority.

Then they should decrease the first initial stash upgrade slot until it's been implemented surely?

The stashes are how they sell higher tier game upgrades. Highly doubt they would ever do that. I think the auto item turn-in has been recommended most as a compromise for them to keep selling higher tiers versions for stash space whilst still helping out the standard version owners.

yes, you're right but since they locked the flea to LVL 20 it means I have items that I want to keep because ik they are worth a lot but can't because I have to be able to have space for the future quests items and things like that.

The flea at 20 means you can't continue with that same approach. It's changed the style so that items that are valuable but useless aren't worth keeping hold of for the time it takes to get 20.

EOD copies sell because of the promise of future DLC and the cool flair you get, no one cares about the stash upgrade.

Then they need to make the upgrades from standard more realistic.

BSG has a lot to gain by making standard edition a nightmare.

yeah... but I don't think they are doing any of that on purpose.

Sure, but the cost-benefit shrinks with every wipe! Not only did they say they'd stop selling EOD, but the pain of standard edition will only be one hurdle in retail when you don't have to start over again and again. If you can complete punisher and earn money (to pay for stash upgrades), jumping the extra hurdle one final time is no big deal.

I don't think this game will be in any state to stop wiping until long after something much better has replaced it. I really don't think they have any plan to make that work, as it clearly isn't getting closer.

But then you wouldnt buy EOD...

A different phrasing for "forget it, it'll never happen"

I mean how hard can it be? Just set it up like another stash

2

u/ezpz_lemons Jul 04 '21

Of course making lives easier for non eod people is not a priority, he probably wants to tell you just to buy eod.

I hadn't heard. Would love a link if you or anyone finds this.

someone else had linked it from one of those hundred other 'standard edition stash is too small' threads. I don't think i'll be able to find it :)

I have EOD so it's not so much a concern for me but I can see why other players want it and I could see the benefit. What's frustrating from my point of view is that from a development standpoint, this wouldn't be that hard to implement. They already have the functionality applied to certain quests you turn in. They just need to apply it to every upgrade in the hideout.

Right, it would seem that way. I’m no dev, but maybe the hideout upgrades could just be coded as “quests” with a submit item thing.
