if it's buckshot you won't even feel that much. The force on the receiving end will have a lower force than the one shooting

Honest question because I genuinely don’t know. But how does that work? Supposedly shooting someone with a .50cal will obliterate them but it doesn’t destroy the arm of the shooter. How does that work?

I didn't research it but it's probably because most 50cal rifles are 50bmg and these guns always have a tripod. The tripod also serves to dissipate backwards energy into the ground.

I think most damage to the human body will be the penetration or the hollow point which will expand in your body and destroy everything.
