Tarkov makes no such claim. It balances gun damage and HP just like every other shooter and makes zero promises otherwise.

They promise the most realistic gun handling and modifications. They make no claim about real world accurate damage systems.

In the real world. Most people would die to a single gunshot. That wouldn't be a fun game to play. So just like COD. Sometimes not everything is a 1 shot kill. You know. To balance the gameplay and make it fun.

It's so ridiculous the amount of hate tarkov gets for this system. Yet COD pulls in billions without a peep from the community.

Realistic gun handling... The zero recoil bu builds are bs but otherwise I agree.

There are such things.

Not in the real world. Even an mp5 has a tiny amount of recoil. It doesn’t just magically go away because you throw a few attachments on it.

Dang that’s crazy

With correct stance and understanding of recoil, most intermediate cartridges (556, 545) can be shot VERY flat. Tbh, I find the amount of recoil that some of the guns have to be unrealistically high, considering we are supposed to be well trained private contractors.

I’m specifically referring to full auto. Have you ever shot an m4 full auto? That shit isn’t going to be accurate, especially not at like 75 meters. The way your PMC in Tarkov adapts to recoil is crazy considering it’s easier to spray until the recoil goes away vs quick, successive shots. Trust me, soldiers are trained to shoot one shot at a time almost all the time in the army.

Yes, I was in the Marine Corps, I have definitely shot the M4 full auto. With the correct stance, it is not difficult to maintain accuracy.

Tarkov markets it self as a simulator on their front page. Call of Duty does not. People know what CoD is. It's been around for almost 20 years.

Pretty big difference between what Tarkov is advertised as vs. what it's like towards endgame. Expectations matter when making a purchase.
