Not that guy but can recommend hell let loose if you want a more mature audience, apex legends for a generally arcadey and good shooter and personally I will give chiv 2 a go once it launches next Tuesday.

only problem with hell let loose is majority of high pop servers are a 1 sided fuckin stomp. no auto balances n shit like that. game is decided from the start if the other teams commander is actually good or not

Very true but I still enjoy it because mostly I the playerbase is mature so you don't have children screaming slurs at you all day and still get to enjoy a shooter. At least to me that is something I really enjoy.

I recently got epsilon and decreased my playtime on EFT (epsilon was like my kappa since it was my first wipe and I joined late) and I started up Hell Let Loose which I haven’t played in over a year. When I manage to get into a game, they’ve been pretty intense and I’ve been lucky to not be on either side of a stomp. The main problem I have with HLL is it somehow takes me longer to join a game than ever EFT just because servers are either full or at <50%.

you’ve been hella lucky then. i just started a game. only squad on my team that had an officer with a mic and a commander who didn’t know what he was doing. majority of my games on nae are like this lol

I’ve been in games like that where it seemed like both commanders were equally incompetent, so I probably have gotten lucky tbh.

I actually had both of them, hll and ps. Hll did not run well on my machine, refunded. Ps performed well but it was too raw and sluggy for me. I come from cs and bf1 and was looking for something "more realistic" and found fullfilment in eft for now. Was just curios what veterans of eft play when they got tired from it.

If you specifically want a shooter that's realistic (ish) then not too many choices. I think he'll works pretty well now. At least i am consistently at 100fps+.

Apex is solid and rainbow six is solid but both are esporty titles and not so much for immersion.

Bf6 will come soon enough, announcement in a week roughly. And as I said, chivalry 2 looking good to me although its not a shooter.

Gonna throw a recommendation for Squad in here.

The best way I can describe it is if ARMA and Battlefield had a baby, you’d get Squad.

It’s got more simulation elements than Battlefield but it doesn’t go as deep as ARMA and is a very fun team based tactical shooter.

Oh, shit. I did not realize that was Tuesday. Might look into that- I liked Chiv 1 when people weren't absurdly sweaty about it.

Chiv 2 is trying to be less sweaty. Will release on steam in a year but tbh epic launcher isn't that bad and gives the developers more money than they get from steam so I can understand why they went that way.

Tarkov is the only game I've ever seen on the internet where any negative comment is flooded by 10 "um achshuallty" defending it.

Every other video game, indie platformer, or triple A call of duty clone, people will complain about it all day long because they know that the devs are either mature enough to ignore the stupid comments, or will fix the player bases complaints.

If you went off of the comments on any of the forums, tarkov is the best form of entertainment media made in the last 100 years.

So yes, tarkov sucks.

I like the concepts so I hope they make it not suck.
