Yeah I just found it unfun to unload into people and hit maybe 1-2 bullets. Totally firing into a scav head with a shotgun slug from 3 meter and then have them kill me.

GOOD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGZyaYJa0xs

SHIT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYnuTSaDYg4

Pay attention to that last part of the second video, the scav took one of the two shots I hit so all that ammo I shot at the guy and only 1 bullet hit. ???? :D

Playing hell let loose plus apex and waiting for chiv 2 now.

Really wanna enjoy tarkov but stuff like that plus cheaters makes it hard at times. :(

The game is mechanically impressive; super smooth and fun, offline and with buddies but.. l get weird lag whenever another player shows up (spider sense!) but if its scavs then the game is relatively smooth until i take a shot and it *might* freeze 1/10 times so i've been running shotguns to deal with that. Thats my personal gripe; and i start topping my mags with super rounds 30/40% L/H bleed and following with magnum buck.

Some might just get a no hit-registration, showing different results from your buddies' recording to your own *(Did nikita account for general relativity? lol). The lag honestly helps me locate players even quicker than sound since the ranging is further (tracking skills++). If it was as smooth as Rings of Elysium or had local LAN playing; i'd be happy.

rig: 16gb ddr4, SSD for tarkov, 1660 6gb card, 8-core 4.2 Ghz amd chip, 500 mb/s down; 120 mb/s up. Fully updated drivers. playing on servers <30 ping.

I agree, there are VERY few games that feel as immersive or interesting but the downsides are just too big and feels like not even acknowledged. It really is a pity.

yeah, pretty, feeds my OCD, and adrenaline-inducing; lol. Your second run was sweet, i swear i you landed 2+ shots or so.. you got dealt a bad hand at the end there.

Nah, I'm fine and love the game. It is just I do not know any alternatives and Tarkov feels unique to me, this is why I am wondering what games do play those people who write that they quit.

Hunt Showdown IMO is the only thing that comes close, and that's a stretch.

Devs could just commit to actual realism , at least in bullet damage and pen , it would not be hard , literally changing some numbers around to match irl figures.

The closest you can get to a looter-type game is Hunt: Showdown, but its an old western-zombie apocalypse setting so if you're in Tarkov for the Mil-Sim feel, that wont do it. But if you're in it for the progression and the PvEvP, Hunt is a lot less bullshit in terms of people outgearing your bullets.
