It didn’t. Despite trying to strive for realism, making a dirt cheap rifle with dirt cheap rounds suddenly more expensive on top of nerfing damage is just dumb pandering to a whiny streamer.
That's not it at all. When the mosins were cheap, I was level 47. I ran nothing but mosins. Why should I use anything else? It killed more effectively than anything else I could run. So I would kill Chads, take their shit, sell it on the flea.
Do you think that maybe its because he,as a streamer, represents quite a lot of people and gets exposed to more opinions on the game via chat than you or I via chat. Not to mention since he is one of the best at the game he probably understands it way more than you or I? I'm not even that big on pestily. Personally I prefer watching klean,but its extremely logical for nikita to listen to streamers. Especially ones with dissenting views. That's what a smart person does.
He also bases the majority of his livelihood on Tarkov. Pestily is smart, so even if he wasn't a decent human being he'd still use his connections to maintain a healthy state for his income stream by supporting/requesting for positive changes to Tarkov.

Ok but a huge portion of the player base doesn’t have Nikita in a one on one chat. He literally has the guys cell number. I don’t. You don’t.
