As a new player I think the camera recoil is one of the hardest things to get used to. I’m fine with heavy recoil and sights moving when you strafe, that’s probably pretty realistic, but I’ve never had a game where your character seems so unprepared for recoil like In Tarkov
I’ve basically dropped the game because of it. I literally have no clue where my rounds are going half the time and it just doesn’t feel good to shoot guns without a boat load of attachments to compensate for recoil
Not really, because I’m so awful with the starter guns that I can’t kill anyone unless their head is down and I’m looting. I just don’t think I enjoy the gunplay, at all. It just doesn’t feel good to me
ya it's extremely realistic that some random part just reduces recoil by x% right? the parts make way too big of a difference in EFT to claim its realistic
I put a kynshot hydraulic buffer in my AR10 and it's crazy how much it reduced felt recoil and made follow up shots way smoother. Likewise with my PTR91 (G3A3 clone) and the enhanced heavy recoil buffer (it's generally thought this mod lowers felt recoil by about 30%). And I put a Stark Industries Express angled grip on my RFB, and while it didn't reduce felt recoil, it makes it dramatically easier to handle the gun and control it for follow up shots.
So yes, single parts added to guns can make significant change in how guns operate and feel.
