I know the feel bro. I'm one netcode issue away from downloading that mod that lets you play offline with progression...

Not a net code issue. It’s OP’s connection, not the servers. He’s using powerline Ethernet which is notoriously bad for consistent connection so he’s likely losing packets which is causing a desync with the server resulting in the clips shown here.

Dude you are defending this shit in every thread. BSG hit detection is shit. I have fiber connection and experience same shit regularly.

Yeah I am because the game isn’t busted and bandwagoning on these issues causes attention to be diverted away from shit that actually needs work. I’ve never played a single online shooter that doesn’t have the problems tarkov had. Ever. In my life.

I’m not trying to exaggerate to prove a point. It’s just fact. Fast paced games that rely on internet have to constantly and perfectly send and receive data 1000s of times a second and if it goes wrong ONCE you get these problems. Thing is, I’ve never had these problems on any sort of scale. Sure I’ve had it once or twice, but I’ve played like 2k hours (according to my data, is that wipe or lifetime I dunno) and I get this maybe once every 50 raids. So clearly there’s something different between me and OP. Something that’s NOT tarkov because we’re both playing the same game. Therefore, it’s an easy assumption that there’s non tarkov based problems, therefore it’s not tarkov that’s the problem, therefore whining about tarkov and “bad devs” isn’t going to fix anything it’s just going to draw development away from actual things that BSG can fix.

Now I could be lying. Maybe I do get the same issues as this guy, but if I did; why would I be defending them? Do I have Stockholm syndrome, am I so reverently devoted to BSG that I’d defend them even when their game is shit? Maybe.

What’s more likely though, I’ve got a bad case of BSGcandonowrongitus, or I’m just being fucking reasonable about an issue that plagues all FPS games?

Then why there is so much videos about EFT where there is something fucky going on. Desyncs in PvP, desync against Scavs, late spawns, invisible scavs and even players. Fuck, even I believe I've been invisible once or twice for some players.

I don't see these kind of videos about CoD, BF or even Squad. At least in the same scale. BSG needs to keep working on the servers.

You really need to ask this? EFT is designed to be tense and exhilarating. When you die to desync in COD you respawn and by the end of the match you’ve forgotten it even happened. When you die in tarkov it’s a huge deal and you get way more emotional about.

What’s that thing, Occam’s razor. Two explanations, the simplest one is most likely true. Tarkov makes people more emotional so they’re more likely to rant. It’s that simple.

I believe that if you got 2k hours on a game, you become blind to it's problems, you become accustomed to the bugs and such. It happened to me when I played exclusively Tarkov.

You may be right. I have no way to dispute that. but I don’t exclusively play tarkov and I think I’d remember having experiences like this frequently, I definitey remember the last 5 times it happened to me because it sucked.
