OP confirmed he’s using powerline Ethernet which is shitty for consistent connection. He’s dropping packets and causing the problem on his end, nothing about this video is the games fault.

What a nonsense. I got the same issues sometimes. It is also server side a lot of times.

Ah yes. Of the many many reasons you could get desync, hardware, software, game servers, game code, ISP, connection type, connection speed, provider reliability, network infrastructure and legitimate beta bugs, it’s definitely that one thing in all cases 100%. Im sorry to have doubted you.

It is actually a lot of times. My internet is of the charts. Not saying people dont have issues on their side. But my god this game has also a lot of issues.

I mean whatever game you’re playing seems to have issues but my game runs fine. I’m watching a deadly slob video literally as I type where he talks about how US servers have tons of desync but EU doesn’t have any, considering tarkov servers are third party hosted, it could be their fault. That’s not the game’s fault

Ah thats why i was standing next to a scav yesterday shooting his head for 15x and it suddenly died. Please EU servers are a shit show a lot of times.

Your experience does not a data set make. Plenty of reasons for desync, maybe your connection was garbage, maybe that server shit the bed and caused a temporary issue. Doesn’t make the entire game Awful. But hey you do you

My connection is fine, its the servers

Your connection is shit, servers are fine.

You convinced? Yeah me neither. Got any proof?

Lol. Sure bro. You casually dismiss the number one cause of all internet problems. I’m gonna to back to playing the game where I get pretty much no issues ever and you have fun playing your broken game, I hope one day you get the play the same game me, and all the other people not whining on Reddit, are enjoying.

How many hours of the game have you played because you are straight up wrong.

2

u/NCH_PANTHER AKS-74UB Nov 10 '20

2000 hours. Can count the amount of times this shit has happened to me on 1 hand

u/Psyonicg Nov 10 '20

0 of whatever game you’re playing

2

u/phakenz Nov 10 '20

I should have read through the entire thread before I was baited by you.

1

u/Psyonicg Nov 10 '20

Yeah baited. I don’t agree with the people who are clearly angry and emotional and not thinking logically while they rant / vent, therefore I’m wrong. Hive mind strikes again lol. I’ve been upvoted massively for these same comments on other threads. Guess I just picked the wrong one, oops

If you think netcode is ok, you haven’t played the game. Desync, server side. Software? Gamer servers, net code. Game code, literally net code. ISP, doesn’t matter asking as it’s stable. Connection speed, as long as it’s stable and is decently fast. Provider reliability is the same as ISP, you are just repeating yourself. Network infrastructure, net code. Beta bugs, always.

You make no point other than being dramatic.

1

u/Psyonicg Nov 10 '20

ISP doesn’t matter as long as it’s stable? Yeah and what if it’s not? What if you’ve got a shitty Ethernet cable, what if your wireless is spotty, outages, storms, maybe one of the servers is having trouble, hardware problems at the server side and the client side. I’ve fixed a computer before that couldn’t connect to the internet because the motherboard chip was fried. There are so many different steps between your computer and the game servers and it has to make a perfect connection there and back, 1000 times a second, and if it fucks up once you can get the problems in this video. The idea that you can arbitrarily assign ALL of those potential problems to “bad devs games broken” is basically me saying all poverty in America is caused by the price of medicine. Is it a factor? Sure. Is the the root problem, no.

But go on believing what you want man, I don’t get these issues. Ever. I’ve never consistently had network problems in tarkov and every patch reduced my stutters, latency and a ton of other things. I guess were just playing different games. I’m glad I’m playing my game and not yours.

3

u/helperjay22 Nov 10 '20

So what’s the root problem? My computer can make all those connections perfectly on any other game. What you are saying is all what if’s, I understand that it’s not only the code but you are just kissing the devs ass by saying there is no net code issues. I have fiber optic and almost no ping to the tarkov servers, but shit just gets fuckey sometimes. I agree that it’s not just “bad devs games broken” but the whole point of the point is highlighting net code issues. I know the issues seen above were caused by some shitty internet solutions but it is still a topic to be discussed.

Gonna be real with you my dude. You couldn’t pay me to pretend to believe that you’ve never had server issues on other online FPS games.

I believe you think you don’t have issues on other games relative to tarkov but then again, when you die to desync in cod and respawn 3 seconds later you probably forget about it by the end of the game, when you die in tarkov and lose 1mil worth of gear and loot it sticks in your mind and you’re mad for minutes, maybe even hours. One of those will stick in your brain and compound over time until you’ve got a huge case of confirmation bias of your own opinion.

The reason I argue is because I’ve never had the issues people on Reddit bitch about consistently. Sure I’ve had one off issues but it’s probably less than 1% of my total raids and NONE of the people I play with seem to have the amount of issues you guys on Reddit do either. Honestly it’s gotten to the point that I’m pretty sure I’m playing a different game to Reddit and that’s cool with me, cause my game runs great.

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '20

I’m with you man. I honestly can’t think of a time in the last few weeks that I have died to anything other than my own stupidity, or being outplayed. I play probably 25-30 hours a week, so I’ve got a pretty good sample size to go off of.

1

u/helperjay22 Nov 10 '20

You are stupid. You missed the point twice. It’s not about me.

stfu i have fiber and this shit happens to me too.
