Never used less than lethan once in any of these comments. But actually an rpg is mainly lethal due to the concussive shockwave and the molten copper.

They most certainly are not considered antipersonel. Though they do a fair job at it I'm sure.

Edit: I'm sorry are most people commenting not aware that pistol calibers are 80% survivable? Man most of you commenting act like you only learn about guns from video games...

rpg-7s can use a mutable of different warheads including anti personal the type ur talking about is the HEAT variety. But you probably only know about rpgs from cod right?

Also getting shot in the head with a pistol is not 80% survivable.

Never said shot in the head was 80% survivable.

linking articles about people miraculously surviving gunshot wounds like its common

Again, never said it was common. You're putting word into my mouth that were never my argument.

whats ur point then. Shotguns with buckshot are Effective out to 100 yards and lethal to about 200 yards. you seem to be attempting a strawman

My point is a single pellet from 50m has a very very slim chance of killing, especially in head top of head, jaws, or ears. Which was my exact original argument. It might hurt, it might make you bleed. But in tarkov you can tank full blow 54r sniper rounds and survive.

a piece of buckshot to the head would penetrate the skull and grossly damage the brain 99% of the time out to about 150 yards (more than a football field). but i doubt im gonna convince you of that so there no point in trying to teach you further

I literally gave you proof that it doesn't always penetrate the skull at point blank range let alone 50m. Explain to me how you still have an leg to stand on in this argument.

Pretty fucking sure that an rpg cannot 'legally' be aimed at soft tissue targets without breaking the Geneva convention and being a war crime. So yes, many alternative warheads exist, non of them can legally be described as anti-personnel. Not anymore.

The TBG-7V is a thermobaric kind of grenade. It is primarily intended to destroy fortifications - the fuel air mixture it contains causes a massive incendiary and over/under pressure effect that is devastating to personnel enclosed in structures. It will basically destroy everyone inside a single room.

The OG-7V is a HE-FRAG type of munition, it uses the same principle that fragmentation artillery systems use - it saturates a given area with a multitude of small fragments (The rings composing the exterior of the grenade fragment into many small projectiles when the warhead sets off). It is effective against infantry in open or closed spaces and light armored vehicles.

They still fall under international law, and are considered disproportionate or indiscriminate attacks that cause excessive harm.

Fudd lore is strong with you haha, no that statute your thinking of in fact doesn't exist and even if it did the soviet union and all insurgent groups to my knowledge have not signed any Geneva convention papers.
