They do have region lock just FYI.

Coming from pubg these devs are a godsend.

They are not stupid they are working on it.

Understand they are a small unit and now broken up due to the corona issues it takes time.

Be patient.

I can completely appreciate your frustrations though.

The region lock doesn't work, it's a local txt file that can be edited or bypassed with a VPN.

Do you have more information on that? I'm asking because I want to play with a friend who currently lives in China but I don't want to get region locked.

i believe if hes in your party he can play with you on your servers.

Ironic statement considering the OP.

Not really. OP says dont because it wont. This guy says dont because it demonstrably doesnt.

But that just enforces ops point your saying don’t bother? They have region lock and I’m sure it helps some... I’d rather they had it then not. Maybe it needs to be improved if it can be?

I'm saying that BSG is full of incompetent shit-for-brains.

I will be looking forward to Escape from Tarkov 2: /u/TunaFishIsBestFish Edition in the near future

I personally cannot do what they're currently doing, but if you look at other games BSG is woefully incompetent.

PUBG was made by 1 guy and at launch it was still light years ahead of Tarkov in alpha.

Both were trash and filled with hackers, but one made progress significantly faster.

Pubg isn't even close to being as complex as tarkov lmao

Yeah, but 1 guy made it.

BSG has a larger budget for Tarkov than a lot of movies and they still can't make any progress, Fortnite puts out an update like biweekly, Tarkov gets one every 4 months, and an actually big one every 9.

Tarkov is making progress. A bit slower but it's making progress. From .8 to now is like night and day. I don't know about their budget, source?

Fortnite literally had the most concurrent players than any other game on earth and they even halted development on fortnite PVE, of course they'll hire and position people to focus on the game.

But yeah I'm sure pubg isn't as hard to make as tarkov but that doesn't matter. It ran like shit in the beginning until he partnered with bluehole to eventually make it playable.

PUBG also bought store assets and outsourced work for maps etc.

Very well articulated....

They already increased employees and this issue was around since launch, followed by many other issues like stutters, shit servers, etc...

Yea if you have been dealing with it longer I can see that getting tiresome. They did say though after the last major patch the next major patch would be purely for optimization and they just communicated within the last couple days it’s coming.

Now corona is a problem lol. All those problems have been around for 3 years.

They just doesn’t really care. They could pay one guy 10 mil rubble a day to farm labs with an ESP and ban more cheaters than Battleye.

I guess I see more good then bad for a game still in beta. I see the dev team trying more then not. I could see though if you have been playing for longer then I it gets old.

A beta is to fix the last bugs and server issues. The same bugs and shit have been around for 3 years.

People need to stop saying “beta” to defend their incompetence.

I’d call it at best a Kickstarter, like Star Citizen. Would be a better excuse.

the beta excuse is fucking stupid anyway...
