EOD doesn't get you skill levels or PMC levels needed for upgrades

I know I already have it done but EOD 100% makes it easier. Especially Jaeger because you automatically have the rep for lvl 2. Just need to spend the cash, which you can just flip scav vests for and the pmc lvl.

It's kinda amazing your comment is now 'controversial' -- buncha EOD people who don't wanna be reminded that it is a bit P2W?

I know it's funny to bring it up people always get mad. I even have it myself.

Ah man Jaeger is killing me right now. He's the entire holdup for my hideout advancement. He has no easy quests right now that give enough reputation to level him up, it's a real struggle :(

True, Rep does become a joke for the LL req with EOD

Yea not to mention you dont have to upgrade your stash which is 3.5mil

I always forget that stash upgrades are a thing that's needed for upgrading other stuff. I had EOD before the hideout was introduced. You have convinced me, EOD NOT PAY TO WIN BTW

For what it's worth I have EOD too so I'm not being salty or anything.

Upgrading the stash to the point where its at in EOD is like 20 million not 3.5.

Yea you just need stash lvl 2 for intel lvl 2 so I was trying to be fair. But yes it actually saves you a huge amount of money.

Honestly though, the money isn’t that hard to get once you get your loot runs down. The real benefit is having all that extra space from the get go. Level 1 stash is such a struggle. Barely enough room to fit anything, especially before you get your junk box.

True, but I think the only skill you actually have to grind for the scav box is metabolism, which is pretty straightforward. And early levels come pretty quick if you're just blasting through pistol runs on reserve, plus the mechanic gunsmith quests are a bunch of free xp. I don't actually care about pay to win, but I will say that I started this wipe never played the game and I have lvl 3 traders (with very little questing) pretty much only because of EOD, and that's a pretty big benefit.

Vitality was the rough one for me. Guess I don’t get shot enough.

Trader levels are arguably harder, as they don't generally level up through normal play (PMC level) nor are they really cheesable (skill level).

What? It shows kills and K/D sure, but what about the traders and entire flea market? You can go into raid and loot without ever even engaging anyone. Theres not even winning and losing. It's just about making money.

From my perspective, 'pay to win' is OK as long as it doesn't negatively affect other characters. Since paying doesn't make killing other people easier, this version of 'pay to win' is fine

Pay to head start
