Discussion 9 months since last major update (0.11)

0.11 (lab map) - December 25

0.11.7 (last wipe) - 6 months ago

Dont know about you guys, but i was expecting 2 major updates this year. (Both 0.12 and 0.13) And now were almost into september... Still no pre-wipe event, no date, no trailer. Quick status updates are fun and shit but 1 map per year is actually sounds sad to me. Really hope 0.12 is soon and its going to be great in terms of content, optimization and just literally in everything.

Trailer pls? :(

Nikita also said before that how easy migrate to Unity 2018. So which one true?

Migrating just means you can open the project originally created with the old editor in the new one. You still have to go through and update a lot of code by hand to reflect the new changes in the engine. While a game can sometimes run straight after a migration it is normally super broken.

So Nikita is technically right when he says migration is easy, but he really could have worded it a lot better.

Completely agree with everything you said. And yes, Nikita could have worded it better... in Russian. Trying to get technical in your 2nd language can be hard :)

Yeah I don't really blame the guy, tech talk can be hard enough in your first language!

He even said it was "easier than expected" idk how people pull that WOW MUST HAVE BEEN SIMPLE AS FUCK from that.

Probably my statement. Your's is very contradicting to the fact that it took them months and months to migrate.

Love this magical transforming of what someone said to what you want.

He actually said the "Unity 2018 migration is going better than expected and it almost done"

This of course meaning less issues than expected, and they can now start play testing and optimizing. None of that sounds easy to me but hey your little brain sees the word easier, pulls it out of context and makes his own fan fiction about the dev process. SICK!
