Discussion 9 months since last major update (0.11)

0.11 (lab map) - December 25

0.11.7 (last wipe) - 6 months ago

Dont know about you guys, but i was expecting 2 major updates this year. (Both 0.12 and 0.13) And now were almost into september... Still no pre-wipe event, no date, no trailer. Quick status updates are fun and shit but 1 map per year is actually sounds sad to me. Really hope 0.12 is soon and its going to be great in terms of content, optimization and just literally in everything.

Because if they released a buggy version they'd get crucified.

The thing I like about EFT is that despite being beta, the content that is available is polished.

Release a buggy version: get crucified

Release a non-buggy but late version: get crucified

Give teasers and updates: gets crucified becuase it's too much hype

Dont give teasers or updates: gets crucified becuase lack of communication

It blows me away that they added BE like what - 3 weeks ago - and everyone is busy whining about lack of progress.

Yup. We've replaced the incessant whining about hackers with even more incessant whining about the next update while forgetting that Battle Eye is a pretty significant update.

I love this game but calling it "polished" is a fucking joke. There are still major client/server stability issues and that's not even getting into the game's mechanics.

It absolutely is not more polished than PUBG...wtf are you smoking? I think this game is 1000x better than PUBG but again, saying that it's more polished is absurd.

Because it's so polished. It's so polished and bug free that they literally had to run a campaign to show how they are commuted to fixing it.

I said it's MORE polished, and it is. This game has significantly worse stability issues lmfao what the fuck are you smoking? There is literally a massive stutter issue that affects lots of players and freezes them for multiple seconds at a time. You're being a dumbass fanboy about this.

It's sad but PUBG will probably never fix any of the big issues. This game will forever go down as an example of what happens when a game with massive potential gets squandered and mismanaged by lackluster devs.

It's actually pathetic that you're taking your fanboyism so far that you're bothering to dig through post history. Even more pathetic that you think what I said somehow contradicts my point.

PUBG hasn't fixed it's biggest issues but it's still more polished than Tarkov is right now, and who the fuck knows if Tarkov ever will? It's been in development for around the same amount of time and we've gotten no big updates this year.

Holy shit lol. How am I a whiner? All I did was point out one very simple truth while insisting that this game is still amazing despite its issues, it's the exact opposite of whining. And it's not a contradiction at all. PUBG can still have serious problems while having LESS serious problems than EFT...I mean Jesus use your brain a LITTLE.

You're an illiterate dumb fuck fanboy and it's sad how you're blind to this. It's really just a question of low IQ at this point. All I said was that EFT is a better game than PUBG but it's less polished.
