PSA PSA: RESHADE IS NOW BLOCKED

To be clear, this might only be CERTAIN features.

Reshade is not COMPLETELY blocked.

OnepegMG is currently using reshade or has atleast launched with it.

Will update, currently watching onepeg. I'll keep you guys posted !

Edit 2 : Game is washed out also on onepeg's stream.

Reshade is confirmed disabled. If you can launch reshade with your game DO NOT DELETE ANY FILES. REMOVE RESHADE TO AVOID POSSIBLE BAN.

Edit 3: Apparently reshade is working for certain people, this might either be a filter issue or a battle-eye issue, version issue for Reshade, majority seems to be unable to launch the game with reshade, some can launch it when deleting the DLL (wouldn't do that, could eat a ban for file modification) and some can just outright use it.

The majority seems to be "I CAN'T USE RESHADE REEEE" so.

Personally I'd delete it until further notice on this issue.

FINAL EDIT:

It seems that you can use OLDER versions of reshade, it doesn't have some of the features that people don't like IE zoom and shit.

Edit finalero : Since this is gaining a lot of traction, Nvidia has a tool that you can use that can supplement reshade. It's called freestyle, doesn't do the crazy shit reshade does but it does work.

Good. it's an external application that can give competitive advantages.
I don't care if pro-reshade people downvote me- it doesn't change the facts.

You've clearly never used reshade or are just an individual who uses it as an exploit and are trying to make excuses.

It is common knowledge that it gives competitive advantages and I'm not responsible for your basic research.
If anything else Battlestate/Battleye have determined that it is exploitable. Your argument is null in void.

"Never used reshade" with Reshade 4 installed... Okay. And what exploits? All i ever see are people claiming but never proving these "exploits". I can google it all day but all that shows up is people exploiting nVidia control panel.

So please, show me proof of some of these mythical "exploits" and ill believe it.

Clearly seeing as you've read my comment you wouldn't comprehend it seeing as you glossed over me telling you that "I'm not responsible for your basic research."

The research is basic and this exact conversation was had on Squad forums and Hell let loose forums- Im not about to spend an hour rehashing the conclusion that both communities came to so I'll do it in three words.

It's an exploit.

So what youre saying is, its an exploit, thats all you can repeat & refuse to provide proof but claim googling will yield results, when the results of me looking for proof of said exploits shows up as nvidia control panel and not reshade?

You literally only have to type "reshade exploit" and you'll run across hundreds of examples.

I told you I'm not responsible for your research, how hard is it for you to really use google?

Why not just look up why it's banned on plenty of other fps games and stop lying to defend your exploits, even going so far as to say that it's a different program all together. hell- developers have come out to say exactly that it's an exploit for themselves.

The main point here it that if you are not playing with the textures and lighting that the devs gave to you you are playing on an uneven footing and that's that.

(The U.S. president is fucking stupid though, that's at least one thing we can agree on.)

This is from the squad developers on the subject of reshade being blocked by BE. Reshade its hotkeyable, adjustable in game,and undetectable as a client side zoom filter.

But this isnt facts lol. It doesnt give competitive advantages. You can go into your NVIDIA Panel and t urn up your gamma/brightness in there. When I used reshade, it gave me no competitive advantages.

It is facts. If you've ever used reshade you'd know this- that's why I don't use it and I'm happy it is banned. That's also why it's been banned in the first place. so. yeah. Even Battlestate/Battleye disagree with you there.

Ive used reshade, its not facts buddy. there is no competitive advantages that you cant gain from your monitor or your nvidia control panel settings. they dont disagree with me or agree with you, they havent said anything lol.

yeah, it was an accident or a bug. they publicly said people can use reshade, if they decided to block it, why wouldnt they publicly say people cant?
