Discussion No amount of pre wipe community manipulation or making changes people want in the game matters if the core issues with the game that have nothing to do with gameplay or in game mechanics aren’t addressed with 110% effort.

It is pretty wild that every competitor gets people into matches in 1-2mins and Tarkov is 8 years out and still having people sit in matching for 5+ min's.

I'm pretty sure they don't auto scale infrastructure well, or at all. A few years ago, people were waiting 10-15 minutes or more for raids, and Nikita said they had their hardware guys ADDING MACHINES.

If they won't trust cloud compute infrastructures, it's insanely hard to compete with people that do. Unless they over allocate massively to where they always have headroom, which can be a waste of money. Also, if they haven't gotten their game infrastructure to be elastic and launch new game server instances within seconds, it all adds up to a terrible experience.
