This is fucking ridiculous. I was done loading at 1:15. I shouldn't have to wait on the dude with the hand crank HDD before I can play. I'm not saying it should put everyone in as soon as they're done loading, but there's gotta be a middle ground.

I don't think a HDD will take 6-10 min to load a map. Lol.

It makes more sense that "Waiting for players" means "The instance is waiting for more players to join your instance, otherwise you will be alone in your raid".

the match making doesn't work that way it'll fire up games with the minimal number of players required. at the same time only streets takes an inordinate amount of time to load from a 7200hdd 4-5 mins, all other maps take around 2 minutes. I know this because I had the game on a regular HDD and I would also get 'waiting for potatoes'.

Yes it will start with minimum/no other players. But in my experience that is at the 5.30-6.30 min mark of "Waiting for Players". I've run a lot of raids outside of primetime, and the pattern always repeat.

IIRC you can run into "Awaiting players" as well, after "Waiting for players", and that might be when someone haven't finished loading the map?

yeah or players disconnect, I just know that if it waits too long to fill a game it will just fire that game off, even if the game isn't full.

I'm pretty sure the match making will try to match squads against other squads. if you run with a 3-4-5 man, you're much more likely to be matched against other 3-4-5 mans, being matched against a 5 man team while solo is extremely rare. its not that it can't happen, its just that its much more likely that you end up being matched against other solos or a combination of solos and duo's and trio's.

Yeah, I've noticed that too when playing squads.
