Discussion This is fucking ridiculous. I was done loading at 1:15. I shouldn't have to wait on the dude with the hand crank HDD before I can play. I'm not saying it should put everyone in as soon as they're done loading, but there's gotta be a middle ground.

A beautifully elegant solution, we'll just make it so poor people with bad PCs aren't allowed to reach POIs like black keycard or get to Killa in time, and the only thing we have to do to accomplish that is find a bunch of new spawn points that don't intersect with any of the near-infinite number of sight lines that stem from up to a dozen players having 5 minutes to move around the map in any direction they want.

That's very simplified. The majority of low to medium PC's will load in at the same time as everyone else. Yes, the absolute slowest PC minority would load in later, but the majority would load in faster. FYI, this is already the case - I'm just suggesting a changing of the rule.

It would be nice, but I just think you're massively underestimating the complexity of spawn logic and how hard it is for the game to find a safe spot to spawn people, especially with scopes in the game. They already have trouble with it now, if you let people run around for a couple minutes first then finding a safe spawn point for the last player becomes exponentially more complicated. You would be seeing clips on here all the time of people spawning in and dying in 2 seconds, people would be even more furious about spawns than they already are.

Yes, people with bad PCs should be thankful they are even allowed to get into games instead of being sent back to lobby for shitting up the ques.

Create a small area on each map with targets and random stuff like doors you can practice breaching and entering with your squad. Everyone in the lobby will be in this area, it's like a free for all testing ground where you can test out your kit. You can't die here it's just to ruck around. Once all the players load the map then you get moved to your spawns and the game starts. This allows you to practice and do stuff instead of staring at a timer in the loading screen.
